L' hotel e' un po' vecchiotto,manca di mantenimento,pero'l'appartamento era molto spazioso e fornito di tutto!! L' unica pecca,l' aria condizionata,che non si poteva spegnere,e il telecomando era senza pile,abbiamo chiesto alla recepción,ma non hanno fatto niente per soddisfare la richiesta!!

So disappointed! We arrived after dark. Check in was quick but the room we were given was so disgusting. Lights falling out the ceiling, fridge didn't keep items cold, the toilet didn't flush, the ac filters were so dirty and clogged, the cobwebs in the windows, dirty drawers in the kitchen, just to name a few. We survived the night and asked for a new room. The new room was mariginally better but the moldy grounds left in the coffee pot pushed me over the edge. We booked 3 nights but left after 2. This place has the potential but the owners need to invest in repairs and maintenance.

Check in was easy. Pool was nice. Staff was attentive with minimal resources. The room was substandard; beds, cooking utensils, lights and fans not working, dirty old fridge, air conditioning that could not keep up with the heat, no decking furniture ( we had to ask), bathroom had missing tiles, screen not secured and was disgusting We had payed for 5 nights and left after the second night even though it was not- refundable by the Expedia. To top it off our neighbors who were local paid 1/4 of the price which we were charge by Expedia. They actually laughed at us. We believe Expedia mislead us or they were mislead. We use Expedia regularly and did not anticipate they would lead us that way according to the posting. Stay away!!

This property is poorly maintained and managed. Missing light bulbs dirty shower , mismatched sheets on beds . Terrible mattress, poorly marked units . Very rural and not a good value for the money.

Its nice up on the hill but secluded, they had NO fresh water. NO AC , and the restaurant was closed so NO food. The nearest place was a $ 50 usd ride away . AND they double charged us.

La refrigeradora congelaba por lo que no pudimos tener frutas no había nada Cerca para comprar y Había que ir a playa hermosa que no nos gusto o al coco para poder comer No había vajilla, ollas licuadora micro y solo un disco No pósito. Shampoo no jabón de manos es la peor hospedaje solo si estaba bien pintada paredes no funcionaba el aire el abanico sonaba y para terminar de hacerla se fue el agua desde el día anterior no tuvimos que venir sin bañarnos

Llegamos y el lugar no tenía electricidad Duran demasiado en contestar los mensajes y para solucionar problemas del hotel. No se los recomiendo Se pueden encontrar mejores lugares

Great location, they appear to be trying to fix the place up. But the room was far from acceptable. It appears no one has cleaned the rooms in months. Upon arrival we were missing towels for the bathroom, and it was odd that they left the key just hanging in the lock for us to just "let ourselves in". I thought my 11 y.o. daughter was exaggerating when she told me it looked like a scary movie in the bathroom. She would not shower without my wife right outside the door. And to my dismay, she was right on. The soap scum and mold in the shower was unacceptable. Then to find out it was a cold shower because she didn't have any hot water. It didn't appear to have been swept in weeks with all of the bugs and dust under the bed. These are the big items of my nit picking. The small items, beach access? Kind of. It is shared with the hotel next door that you have to cross a trench to get to. Sliding glass door to the balcony didn't lock. This place has some very serious potential, and I did see people working to fix it up. Just would have been nice to know these things before we were there.

No nos dieron habitación ni reembolso de la resrva
PESIMO . Rerservamos y pagamos de antelación dos habitaciones. Cuando llegamos al hotel nos dijeron que sólo teníasn una y que se tenían que acomodar todos en ella. Luego nos dijeron que no tenían ninguna y que escribieramos a HOTELS.COM para el reembolso que no hemos recibido todavía. Tuvimos que buscar una habitación en otra aplicación y pagar doble.

First, there is no entrance sign for this property, it took us about 15 minutes to figure out. Road to the unit is all one way, narrow & tight parking space. The reception area was so primitive. The unit we got was in bad shape: bed not comfy, bedsheets were old and torn, chairs & sofa looked dirty, shower tub and glass door had all dirty stain and mold, a few wall tiles were missing, air conditioning dripped water on floor all night and we had to be careful walking around in the room, couldn't open safe & staff wouldn't provide master code to open, lock on patio door were broken. We felt so unsafe and uncomfortable the whole night and we felt being cheated by the pictures and descriptions posted on Expedia. That was the worst stay in my life. I would not stay there even if that was free of charge. That place needs a big renovation or they just need to shut down the business.

I generally don’t write reviews but felt I should here. Toilet had major leak ((water running out of bathroom even). Had to argue to get a different room. Dirty bedding. No comforter. Promised king bed was given a double. No toiletries as promised. Kitchen is not very workable. Broken thumb latch on entry door. Balcony door was locked shut so we couldn’t use. Completely neglected place.

La vista es muy bonita, pero las instalaciones muy malas, no hay restaurante, ni mesas para el area de piscina, las sillas de playa totalmente descuidadas y rotas, la piscina muy bien, pésima señalización de senderos y habitaciones, las instalaciones de habitaciones rotas, sin utensilios para comer y cocinar. El lugar puede ser mucho mejor pero tienen pésimo mantenimiento, muy caro para cómo se encuentra

A cheap hotel, and it shows.
The best ting about Vista Bahia was the service. The staff were friendly and accommodating -- even allowing us to check in much earlier than advertised. The hotel was lower priced so I wasn't expecting anything fancy, but nothing like what was pictured. The room was spacious and came with a kitchenette, but the sink only had working water on the hot faucet, no cold, no filtered. The tub faucet was leaky and both tub and toilet were either stained or dirty (hard to tell.) Towels were given at check in, but none are provided in the rooms (including wash cloths.) There are no other amenities, like a hair dryer, soap & shampoo. Beds are firm, with fitted, top sheet and 2 pillows. Several items were in disrepair including: the sliding door to the balcony (had no working latch so it always remained unlocked), the cable and wi-fi worked intermittently, and several lights were out. There is a bar in the lobby, but no restaurant and no bottled water available. The pool was nice, but the overall impression of the hotel was one in disrepair. It was a place to sleep for the night, but nothing more. We were only there 1 night, but you can do better. Much better.

The property is at walking distance of the beach, quiet and the sea is visible from the room, however it feels abandoned, one of the the beds didn't have any linens, it was literally just the mattress and the staff didn't provide any even after requesting at the front desk. All pillows had mold and rust came out of the tap when we first opened it. Also the fridge didn't work. Would not recommend.

Pésimo servicio de recepción, ni tan siquiera estaban al tanto de mi reserva realizada con un mes de anticipación. La habitación estaba limpia pero nadie limpio durante las 3 noches que estuvimos ahí, no había jabón de ningún tipo ni papel higiénico. El lugar no cuenta con Parqueo para los vehículos se deben de dejar en cualquier lugar… No habían cobijas más allá de sábanas de mala calidad y las almohadas de pésima calidad.

Es un lugar increíble que creo que le falta mantenimiento, se ve un poco deteriorado. Sin embargo creo que con un poco de restauración tanto en cuartos como en áreas sociales el lugar sería uno de los mejores. El precio que tienen ahorita si lo veo justo para lo que ofrecen hoy en día.

The rental was poorly maintained, the furnishings were very old and mis-matched. The rooms need to be remodeled and deep cleaned. There were none of the amenities expected for a ‘resort’. The only towel in the room was a small dish towel.

Plutôt difficile à trouver déjà. Rien n’indique la présence en bordure de route. L’état de l’appartement laissait à désirer. Difficulté à barrer/débarrer la porte. La douche était fonctionnelle mais on aurait dit un ancien bain tourbillon désaffecté. La seule chaise disponible sur le balcon était brisée. Plutôt décevant. Playa Panama était accessible à pied, point positif quand même. Mais ça ne valait pas le prix demandé. J’ai l’impression de m’être fait rouler malheureusement. Nous avons réservé un hôtel près de Jaco pendant le même voyage pour moins cher et beaucoup beaucoup mieux.

Do Not Recommend
I want to start by saying the owners are trying to make this a hospitable space. That being said, I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL. Check in was easy when we arrived. However, when we got to the room the front door was left open and there were a lot of bugs in the room. I understand the hotel is very close to a beach and I have stayed at places in Hawaii that also have bugs. If they had left the door closed it would have reduced the bugs in the room. One of the beds was so hard it couldn't be used. The worst part was you have to ask for a room with hot water! We learned this the hard way and had to take cold showers for three days. When we checked out we could not find a staff member to give us a receipt, so we had to leave the room key on the front desk. The good things about this hotel is it is walking distance to a beach, the town is close by, excluding bugs the room was clean. I wanted to like this hotel, but I will never stay here again. It is worn down and needs work...and hot water.
