Excellent location. Just park and walk around. The rooms are simple but well kept and clean. Microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker and TV with pretty much all channels.

Rooms had not a single shelf, hanging rod or drawers to put clothes away for a 4 night stay. The microwave cord could not reach any plug-in. My daughter's room had no refrigerator. Both rooms had cobwebs. Seating in room was a tiny outdoor table and chairs. Continental breakfast was only on weekends. Other mornings we couldn't even get coffee because office didn't open until 9:00. Front desk staff seemed young and inexperienced. One wouldn't give me tissues when I asked. One named Adam was finally helpful. I never saw that manager at all. We've stayed there many times over the last several years, but will not stay there again.

I'm pleased to announce that we are now back to full operating hours in the office and breakfast 7 days a week. As we've worked to ramp up for our primary season, new staff has continued to come on board and get extensive training. All rooms have been through a deep clean and maintenance touchups, and I'm confident you won't be disappointed should you give us another try.

Hotels in the U.P. are much more limited and usually not a big chain unless you are willing to pay a crazy amount and have reservations way in advance. This was one of the best small hotels we have stayed at for the price. We stayed in one of the cabin rooms with 2 beds and were very satisfied. It was clean, the beds were comfy, and it had all of the amenities you would expect if you were staying in a chain hotel. The convenience of being able to walk to the Soo Locks and all of the surrounding stores and restaurants was an added bonus. Will definitely be back.

Very nicely updated. Very happy we could bring our dog. Only concern we had was how squeaky the floor was as we were on the 2nd floor. But we didnt get a notificationof a complaint so it must have been okay.

The Adoba was so nice and convenient the business we had in Sault Ste Marie. The room was very clean and was serviced every day which was so nice . Only thing I would change is having a couple of comfortable chairs instead of outside garden furniture.

Walls are paper thin. Could hear every customer when they arrived along with the conversation and TV from the room next door. The bed was comfortable other than the head of the bed was slightly downhill. The room was clean and updated.

Making the best of an old property. Newer motels are much roomier, modern and up to date. Staff was great.

Perfect place to stay for this tourist area of town. Updated decor motel with that ole school 70/80’s Motel vibe. Isn’t the type of place you want if you’re looking for the big screen tv and fancy hotel style rooms. Stayed during the off season and loved how quiet it was. Will definitely stay here again!

We liked the convenience of being in town, cleanliness of room. We were on first floor, so having people above was a little loud. Could hear them walking around, but could not hear talking. All in all good place to stay. Clean room and bathroom.

Nice play to stay
Cute place right by the waterfront area. Older motel but so well taken care of. Staff was friendly (Thanks, Michelle) and very helpful. Easy to walk to where you wanted to go for dinner, drinks, or breakfast. Would definitely stay here again.

One of the bigger mistakes I've made booking a hotel. Rooms do not get services. At all.. You have to take your own garbage to the dumpster, out back. Way out back!! If you want clean towels you will need to ask for them. I put the "Please Make Up Room" placard on the door handle, and removed it after 3 days when I realized they were not going to "Make up" my room. Bathroom does not have an exhaust fan, so I'd venture to guess there is mold growing somewhere from the shower.

Best Motel in the UP!
My stay was GREAT! I loved the room, it was very homey and wasn’t old looking. Big fridge and even a microwave in the room. The bed was SOO comfortable!
