I read reviews, thought I would have a great experience. One reviewer indicated “nice hotel but wrong location” or something similar.
When I turned into the parking lot, I knew what she meant. The hotel across the entrance of GLo had several people “hanging” in the parking lot of their hotel and on the balconies. I didn’t feel unsafe, but it is not something you would expect, at least in my experience.
My reservation was for a single bed. I was placed with a double bed. I was not informed of this when I got my key which was not a big deal, but added to the list of “things that I did not sign up for.” A plus, the person at the desk was forthcoming about the $150 deposit that is held in “pending” status for incidentals. This was something that others indicated was an issue in reviews.
When I arrived in room, I noticed several spots were not thoroughly cleaned:
The floors, plastic tags from clothing were in several places on the floor and food crumbs in the corners.
The shower, walls had shampoo and conditioner splattered. They also had what looked like mold on the bottom of the shower panel due to a seal that was malfunctioning.
The sink, the nozzle that controlled the temperature had crude. Along with the stains on the sink from water spots. The speckled shelving that was near the sink had what looked like toothpaste splatter on the bottom edge.
After these things, I started to inspect the entire room and found the room to be poorly crafted.I will not return!
