Cottage a Shannon

“We were 3 seniors staying in this darling cottage. It was extremely comfortable with nicely -separated bedrooms. The house was well appointed. The hosts provided lots of reading materials including about area attractions. Pat greeted us when we arrived and spent time explaining the heating, appliances, and the area.”

“Was like a delightful step back in time. Peaceful! Loved the countryside. Local cows became friends. Learned about using turf in stove. We loved it! Very easy to start! Stephanie was wonderful and made some reservations for us as well as providing turf for our first night when stores were closed. Lovely village!”

“Easily the worst overnight stay I have encountered anywhere in my travels. We had no working water heater the first 24 hours so none of us could shower. The floors were sticky. We killed two sizeable spiders in the unit. The whole place smelled like chemicals but I couldn’t quite place what they were.
