Cottage a Sintra

“We couldn't have been happier with our stay. Ralph made us feel very welcome and was extremely helpful with recommendations on where to go and eat etc. The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed, and was in a great location, minutes from the beach and local amenities, including supermarkets, bars and restaurants. Praia das Maçãs is a very chilled and relaxing place to stay and we met some lovely people. We stayed 12 nights and loved it. Thank you Ralph, we hope to be back! :-)”

“Jolie Quinta portugaise très confortable avec ses 5 chambres et ses 5 salles de bain. Ce qui est assez rare en général. Grande piscine et table de ping-pong qui ont ravi les enfants. Commerces et plage à 5 mn en voiture. Accueil très sympathique par Elisabeth et petites attentions de la part des propriétaires pour nous souhaiter la bienvenue (petits gâteaux, pain, jus de fruits, beurre, vin local, fromage ...). Beaucoup d'espace intérieur et extérieur, parfait pour 10 personnes.”

“This house is homey and spacious. It does not have a hot tub. The beds are good and the views are amazing. There is definitely an electrical problem that was addressed but not solved during our stay (3 weeks). You can not run the heating units/AC all together, you cannot run the dishwasher and washing machine together. The electric supply is not sufficient for the house. We worked around it and had a good stay but if you’re not handy probably you should stay elsewhere.”

“A quiet place, surrounded by pine trees and not far from the beaches and the sights of Sintra. The house is tastefully decorated and offers everything necessary for a pleasant stay. We will be happy to come back.”

“Met by a fluent English speaker who knew the area was a great beginning to a one week stay at the cottage. Everything was better than expected. It was quiet and clean and in a prefect location. What a week we had.”

“An ideal retreat to escape the hustle and bustle. The flats are tastefully and modernly furnished. The facilities are very good and the large pool provides refreshment on the hot days. The landlords proved to be very accommodating and helpful. So our second stay here was again very pleasant.”

“An incredible home in an incredible area. There is so much to do nearby but yet we found that our favorite thing to do in the whole country was coming back to this villa after a day of wandering about. We will find a way to make it back one day.”

“Sehr erholsame und sonnige 10 Tage in traumhafter Lage. Die Wohnung hat 2 Schlafzimmer und ein kleines Bad, zu dem man durch eines der Schlafzimmer gelangt. Im Wohnzimmer ist eine Küche mit allem Notwendigen zum Kochen. Vom kleinen Garten oder der nahen Aussichtsbank hat man einen herrlichen Blick auf den Atlantik und das Dorf.”

“Appartamento fantastico con una sala immensa con cucina ed una camera fantastica in un contesto molto bello all'interno del centro storico di Sintra!! Pulizia impeccabile, bagno con doccia enorme e letto comodissimo. Personale molto accogliente. Ti danno un codice così non c'è bisogno della chiave e anche quando devi fare il check out puoi andare tranquillamente via senza preoccuparti di niente. ”

“Il BB è in una zon degradata, circondata sulla strada da case abbandonate e pericolanti, (come del resto in gran parte del paese); sul retro vi è una boscaglia non curata e per questo motivo all' interno dei locali ci sono molte mosche. La camera era abbastanza accogliente e confortevole. La colazione invece era poco abbondante. La signora alla reception è molto gentile e simpatica. Il centro del paese è a circa 15 minuti a piedi. ”

“Everything was catered for in the house . Location great for local beauty spots and not far to Lisbon . Sintra well worth a visit too .”
