This booking is not through the hotel itself, but with a third party company that has leased a floor of the hotel.
Communication with this company was awful. There is a line that you must call to check in. They ask if someone is there to mee us (no, the actual hotel staff directed us to a sign in the back with a contact number), insist that there is a "desk" that we should find for the lockboxes (what they mean is a panel on the back wall; English language commnication seemed to be a struggle throughout the process).
In the hotel, we had to contact the company 3x to get the wifi code.
The AC was not working, and we gave up on trying to communicate this after several calls and emails. It simply did not seem that anyone had the language skills to understand that we had in fact hit the on/off button, and this did ot solve the problem.
It's honestly difficult to tell if the Globalstay staff were rude, or simply did not understand English. This company claims to be "Canadian owned and operated" but I would bet that this is not the case from our experience.
If you want to book this property, I would recommend booking though the hotel directly and avoiding Globalstay at all costs. The customer service experience is absolutely hideous.
