Vacanza in costiera
La struttura è stata recentemente riaperta dopo vent'anni di inattività, completamente ristrutturata con gusto e con un gusto moderno con il giusto tocco di stile locale. Le camere sono molto confortevoli con una splendida vista sul golfo di Napoli e il Vesuvio; stessa vista che si ha modo di apprezzare per la prima colazione e se si decide di pranzare o cenare presso il ristorante dell'hotel, che si fregia di una stella Michelin. La posizione è strategica perchè il centro è facilmente raggiungibile a piedi ma al tempo stesso si sta in una zona tranquilla, peraltro molto frequentata anche dalla gente del posto perchè giudicato il punto migliore per godere del tramonto su Capri. La struttura ha un lido privato raggiungibile con un ascensore scavato nella roccia con un servizio di livello eccellente. La colazione è molto varia e curata (con servizio al tavolo) e la cucina del ristorante merita la stella Michelin. Sono solo da registrare alcuni peccati di giovinezza nel servizio del ristorante dovuti, a mio parere, al fatto che la squadra non è ancora affiatata a causa della recente apertura ma niente che non permetta di affermare che un soggiorno al Lorelei sia assolutamente consigliabile.

Excellent all around. Staff was top notch. Breakfast, room, location - all wonderful. Took my daughters on an Italy trip and Hotel Lorelei was, by far, their favorite place. Would stay again!!!

We have just left Lorelei Londres after a 7 night stay. It is our first time to Italy and we started here. The Hotel and staff are simply wonderful. Always extremely helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. We had a junior suite room with a balcony and jacuzzi with amazing views of Sorrento. The Restaurant staff were just were all wonderful, and Valentina was just a wonderful bright and cheery face to see every morning. After the 2nd day she knew our breakfast preference and always brought us the cake of the day. Edna made our amazing coffees every morning also knowing our preferences. Restaurant for breakfast does not open till 7am however Edna made us a take away this morning prior to 7 as our transport was picking us up at 7am. Location was just perfect approx 15 mins walk into main town Sorrento. The sunset bar was simply Devine overlooking the bay of Sorrento. I would absolutely stay here again.

We had a great water view. Close walk to city square and train station. Concierge were very helpful with any questions, gave great suggestions for dinning options within walking distance and very personable. Breakfast staff and food were great.

Excellent Hotel - Superb!
Absolutely brilliant hotel. We stayed for 3 nights during our visit to Sorrento and the hotel is stunning. They have really classy and tastefully designed interiors. We stayed in the junior suite, the room was spacious and bright with its own wraparound balcony which boated an outside jacuzzi bath, sun loungers and a table and chair. The views are stunning and the staff were just incredible and could not do more to make our stay perfect. The attached restaurant is a must-visit and the breakfast is very very good. Absolutely 100% worth staying and we will certainly come back again!

I booked early for our trip and found that the room rate dropped significantly as the date of the trip neared. We had a lovely room with a gorgeous view and small terrace. The staff are amazing and the outdoor patio for breakfast has a breathtaking view.

This property is in am incredible location. The views and balconies are incredible. However, our room had a bad odor eminating out from the bathroom that got continually worse as our stay progressed (we stayed 4 days). The staff swemed surprised when we broufht it up and saod they would look into it. They said thwy fixed it after we came back from am excursion but never said how. The smell quickly came back. In addition, everytme we called room service or the front desk they had to call us back later because they didn't know how to help us and had ro ask somebody (even just for simple drinks like amaretto). Housekeeping also would only partially freshen up our room. We had to constantly ask for towels,.or soap, or water, even after they had serviced the room. Overall,.the staff was friendly but did very helpful. When we asked for a taxi to town or a car service ww asked foe only those who took cards but they kept setting us up with those who didn't take cards. This place has potential but really missing out on the important details that falls in line with a luxury resort on the Amalfi Coast.

From before even stepping onto the property we were treated with the most incredible service. Luana & Maria would respond to any email regarding our stay, reservations, or bookings promptly. They were beyond helpful with planning our itinerary and guiding us. They recommended boats for a trip along the Amalfi Coast & activities such as olive oil tasting, cooking classes, & lemon garden tours. Once we arrived to the property we were greeted with warmest smiles and services. The hotel itself was stunning, with breathtaking views of the sea, Mount Vesuvius, & Sorrento. The rooms were large, spacious, and very clean. Housekeeping always brought us anything and everything we needed. Every morning at breakfast, Valentina, George, & Max would have the biggest smiles and provide us with anything and everything we needed. By the 3rd day of our stay, they would bring our coffees out without us even asking, which was a testament to the hotel’s attention to each guest. The staff down by the beach club and up at the Sunset Bar too were very kind and provided us with exceptional service. We dined at Restaurant Lorelei & the service and food we got there too was exceptional. Mariana explained each dish very well with so much detail, Pepe was helpful with guiding us with the wines, and George, once again, provided us with great service. My family & I had the most amazing 6 nights at Hotel Lorelei Londres. Every meal, sunset, and staff member exceeded our expectations. We can’t wait to return

The view from each room is simple the best of Sorrento , the rooms are very spacious for Europe , extremely clean, and is located in very quiet street but not far from the center , only 10 minutes walk from main port

Beautiful views
Room was nice. It is a little walk to the center of Sorrento but we didn’t mind that. Rooftop bar has a beautiful view. Rooms have a beautiful view as well. Restaurant Lorelei that has one Michelin star was good. Overpriced… but I suppose that’s to be expected give Michelin rating.

Not a bad thing to say about the property BUT I strongly suggest not booking any excursions through the hotel. We booked a private driver and tour guide for Vesuvius and Pompeii through the hotel. Our private driver was a disaster…not even knowing we were supposed to go to both destinations. After taking us to Pompeii, he basically refused to take us to Vesuvius and instead took us to a restaurant of his choosing and then to a coral factory which was basically his attempt to get us to buy jewelry we didn’t want and then cutting the trip short by 2 hours. He tried to tell us that Vesuvius was closed due to high winds which was not substantiated by the Vesuvius National Park website. Even though I complained upon return, the hotel gave us a token discount. In the end we paid 550 Euros the cost of Vesuvius park tickets for a trip to Pompeii and back…very disappointing given the level of hotel and unfortunately was a black mark on an otherwise pleasant stay.

C’est le Lorelei qui a rendu notre séjour à Sorrento mémorable. Tout d’abord le personnel extraordinaire, souriant, toujours dévoué à notre bien-être et ce à tous le niveaux. Un service de grande classe, de grands hotels. L’équipe de Sascha à la restauration, que ce soit au déjeuner, au lunch, au resto Lorelei ou au Sunset bar est hors du commun et offre Vraiment un service remarquable, une cuisine excellente. To top it all, la vue époustouflante ou que vous soyez dans l’hotel fait l’envie de nombreux touristes qui s’arrêtent sur la rue. les chambres sont modernes, propres, très agréables et rien ne manque. Si je reviens dans la région ce sera l’endroit ou je retournerai. Notre expérience à Sorrento n’aurait pas ete la meme sans le Lorelei, merci à toute l’equipe pour toutes les attentions!
