“I came to Margate for an overnight solo birthday trip and I had the most wonderful time at No 42 by Guesthouse (Margate). The room was gorgeous - spacious, airy, well designed and with a balcony overlooking the beach that seats two people comfortably. “This was my old college 40 years ago so it was a trip down memory lane and lovely to see it put to good use. Great large room had everything you want except some draw space & maybe some coat hooks plenty of room to fit them in. Breakfast was ok but would be nice to have more of a waiting service. Shame the bar closed at 10pm when you just come back from a night out & the coffee machine is turned off for cleaning well before 10pm, these are all minor things & I would return again.”

“The hotel was very modern and comfortable. It felt like a cosy coffee shop in the lobby, with a lovely bar on the side. The staff in both the hotel and bar were extremely friendly and the free welcoming drink was a nice added bonus! The room was bright and the bed comfy with a lovely sea view.
