広いバスタブにふかふかの絨毯。古くてクラシカルな素敵な雰囲気です。清潔感もあり、快適なホテルでした。 スタッフの皆さんもフレンドリーで親切です。近くにはスーパーや生活用品店、薬局、レストランなど揃っており、旅の忘れ物もトレッキング用のランチも買うことができます。 中心街より少しだけ山寄りなので、夜にホテルの前から綺麗な星空も見ることができました。 このホテルのおかげでブルーマウンテンでの思い出が素敵なものになりました。ありがとうございました。 次に訪れるチャンスがあれば、もっとゆっくり滞在してみたいです。

A grand old place
Really well located, only about 15 minutes walk from the station at Katoomba. Close to restaurants and shops and most visitor attractions.

All ok hotel - one comment: coffee served for the continental breakfast is water colored in black....not real coffee for a morning wake up.

I had great expectations, but really old, lumpy pillows and threadbare towels for $334 a night is disgraceful! No complementary bottle of water and charging extra for breakfast at that price is ridiculous. I would not stay here again. Staff were lovely, and temperature of the room was great if i had to say something positive.

A wonderful hotel.
I usually stay at the Carrington on my rare visits to Katoomba, however the Carrington was fully booked for the one night and day I had at Katoomba. The Palais Royale is a beautifully restored hotel with equally welcoming hosts and a nice pleasant walk from the station. The continental brekky was good enough to start any day. Now I'm retired, I will be back for a longer stay very soon.

This was a total surprise for the amount we paid . It was clean , friendly and so close to the middle of town . The breakfast was sensational and serving was huge . The best part was the coffee was exceptional . Would recommend to anyone

The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. A huge factor in booking the room was it had a private bathroom. The hotel offers an old world charm with the decor whilst proving modern conveniences. It was an enjoyable one night stay.

This property was real gem...gorgeous well appointed room on the ground floor, dining options more than sufficient with a super meal freshly prepared...loved it. All the staff were welcoming and attentive. For an overnight stay or several nights, this hotel offers guests a very affordable break away. Thank you!

Pleasant stay
The Palais Royale is centrally-located, and near an excellent restaurant (Canton Palace) that we visited for dinner. Disappointing that the Palais only has breakfast SOME mornings so don't rely on it! We had to go up the street on a very cold morning to obtain our breakfast at a local cafe. Maybe they could offer a self-service continental breakfast on those days? The central heating is warm but even turned up to 30deg it was not T-shirt comfortable.

Loved the feel, great staff, easy parking, great location. Beautiful building etc. Small suggestion, turn the heating up in the room prior to guest arriving as it was a particularly cold day and the room took us a couple of hours to get warm. Having said this, had a lovely time, the family and I are looking forward to coming back soon :)
