Tutto perfetto
Locale accogliente e personale gentilissimo. Il sig. Ernesto è una persona squisita! Il posto è centralissimo! Ci siamo trovati davvero bene

Troppo piccolo e troppo vecchio.
Troppo piccolo e troppo vecchio.... necessita di ristrutturazione e ammodernamento. Troppo costoso per il servizio offerto. L'unica comodità è la posizione.

Albergo in pieno centro a Taormina
Ho soggiornato a Villa Floresta in un weekend di marzo. L'albergo è nel centro di Taormina, perfetto per avere tutto vicino (attrazioni, negozi, ristoranti,...). Personale gentile e pulizia delle camere buona. Unico punto sfavorevole: il bagno. Nella descrizione dell'albergo non viene menzionato che è esterno alla camera. Se lo dicessero in anticipo, si avrebbero meno delusioni all'arrivo.

E' un b&b molto carino, situato in una bella casa antica in piazza duomo, proprio nel centro di Taormina. Avevamo tutto quello che ci serviva. La camera era molto confortevole con tv e aria condizionata che funzionavano perfettamente. c'era pure un piccolo frigo che ci ha fatto molto comodo! Anche nel bagno c'era tutto quello che ci serviva. I gestori sono stati sempre gentilissimi. Ci hanno offerto una colazione a base di torte della nonna! Buonissima! Ci è stata servita in camera anche se avremmo preferito in terrazza, perché c'è una vista mozzafiato sul mare e sull'Etna, ma essendo Febbraio non era possile! Ci torneremo sicuramente e lo consiglieremo a tutti i nostri amici.

Awaken to the cooing of doves!
The Villa Floresta is wonderfully located right near the Piazza Duomo. It is very reasonably priced considering its location in the center of a major tourist destination. I would not call it a Bed and Breakfast because breakfast is not included in the basic price. We chose to go into the village for our Italian breakfast which consists of pastry with espresso or cappaccino. Our room was clean and comfortable with a view of the village below and the sea beyond. The only drawback to this room was that our private bathroom was down the hall. It would be nice for the hosts to provide robes for this room since occupants don't have an ensuite.

Disappointing!
We froze the first night because we couldn’t figure out the heater. Ernesto, the very sweet grandfather came in and tried to help, but no luck. So we froze the second night. For the third night my husband went down to the office and asked if they could help him figure out the heater. They told him it wasn’t broken. He told them he knew that, he just couldn’t figure out how to turn it on and needed help. The son’s (who was very nice) wife told my husband that we were more than welcome to leave and they had no problem with it if we did. The room is paid for, it was 8 o’clock at night, and dark and chilly. Really? Where would we go? The husband did come up and show my husband how to turn on the heat. Our third night at the hotel we had one bath towel and one hand towel between the two of us. The hotel advertised a washing machine which we were planning on using, but it was broken. The hotel advertised itself as a B and B, but there was no breakfast unless you ordered it 24 hours in advance and paid for it??? The town is absolutely gorgeous, but we were not happy at our hotel.

Dear Guest, maybe you are confused and your comment is reserved for other hotel, because you wrote about three nights of staying but your reservation at Villa Floresta is only for 2 days! You wrote also about an office where you asked informations but we haven't office! About the breakfast, your reservation is for the room only! There isn't a washing machine available inside Villa Floresta ! Inside our bathroom, there are a couple of linen for every guest! And, at least, there is a centralized system of heating/air conditioning and everything is working! We don't understand your complain!!!!!

This is the first time I am staying at a B&B where breakfast is additional. That was unexpected. The location is ideal in the heart of the historic district with views of the Duomo, the hotel offers a lovely rooftop terrace where they serve breakfast and my room was spacious and comfortable with a small refrigerator. Lots of steps to get there so not for everybody.

This was a great place, centrally located in Taormina Central. Be aware, there is a bar and restaurant nearby and you might hear some noise if you leave your windows open.

The location was good - an easy 20 minute walk from the bus station and on a beautiful square. The views were lovely! The owner was very friendly and eager to show us many things we could do in Taormina. He’s lived there his whole life. The room was very clean.

As stated I arrived late at night the owner was very gracious. Other guests arriving were very noisy and my room was very close to entrance. Cold was the worst problem

Clean and cosy
Good price for the location and a nice place to stay. My room was quite small but pleasant. Angelo was very welcoming and allowed me to leave my bag the next day while I went to the beach. There was also a lovely young lady working there who was also very accommodating..

Excellent location in taormina as its in the centre, nice roof terrace and friendly staff. Facilities are basic, but for a b and b its good value for money.

nous avons passé 3 nuits au B and B très déçu par l'accueil de la personne qui s'intéresse surtout à son porte monnaie... elle nous a d'abord placé dans une chambre petite tout à l'étage puis on a changé le lendemain (avec surcharge) clim très bruyante aucun rajout au petit déj qui est vraiment très frugal (par contre agréable car pris sur le toit l'intérêt de ce B and B repose dans son positionnement hyper central et avec une bonne isolation
Intéressé dans le porte monnaie? Je dis-je qu'il y avait une autre chambre libre, avec vue sur la mer. Vous décidé de le changer. Parce que «vous aviez initialement choisi les chambres économiques, il y avait une différence à payer (10 euros en plus). Je lui ai-je une faveur, vous avait réservé la chambre d'économie!

Good location- but don't count on getting an sleep
Villa Floresta is in a great location, just meters from the main strip in Taormina. The room is very basic and the building is old but it was fine as we didn't plan on staying in the room too much. At night however, we got little sleep- not from noise outside but from a old air conditioning unit that sounded like someone was hitting it over and over again with a hammer. We tried turning this off and opening the balcony but then mosquitos would get in. To top this off you also had the loud hum of the fridge and noises from what I presume the water system. Only on our final night when the weather was cooler and the building was not hot, did we get a decent sleep. We needed up turning off the air con and unplugging the fridge. I am fine with budget accommodation but sleep is something I cannot do without.
Hello, we inform you that the air conditioning is been changed. Now is new. We remenber you also that Villa Floresta is inside an ancient building...ancient, non old!

Our stay was excellent, our room had a view of the sea and the duomo on the otherside. It was tastefully decorated and a great location in the centre of town.

B&b muy bien ubicado, super cómodo. Para llegar desde la estación de tren no hay que hacerlo caminando, pues el centro de la ciudad queda a varios metros sobre el nivel del mar. El hotel tiene una terraza hermosos imagen con vista al duomo y al mar

Vårt rum hade inte toalett/dusch på rummet vilket var negativt. Men mycket vänlig värd som tog hand om oss och hjälpte oss med sightseeing mm. Härlig vy över området från terassen där frukosten serverades. Lite synd att man var tvungen att välja frukost från en begränsad lista.

Supermysigt BnB med bara fem rum som ligger precis intill torget i Taormina. Perfekt för oss som ville känna på den italienska kulturen och ha nära till det italienska köket. Ca 15 min promenad från linbanan ner till stranden. Ägarna är trevliga och hjälpsamma.

The B&B is located very centrally but is still tranquil enough to have a good nights sleep. We did have a private bathroom, but it wasn't in the room but down a corridor. Lovely views from the roof top terrace that we used one evening drinking wine and eating cheese. Owner was very friendly and helpful in every way. Could go again.

Meget fin beliggenhed. WiFi kun i “fællesrum” Morgenmaden er ikke pengene værd, meget bedre at bruge et af de utroligt mange spisesteder i nærheden. Alt i alt i øvrigt: nogenlund OK til prisen.

Amazing location, right on the square (not easy to find by road, suggest you park in main car park and arrive on foot) Very warm welcome from Ernesto, could not be more friendly & helpful. Simple breakfast served on the roof terrace by his lovely daughter, Maria. Room basic, plumbing in need of some attention.

B&B is very close to the main street. Parking is walking distance. Condition of the B&B isn't great though, you get what you pay for. Its a decent budget accommodation.

Ce petit hôtel est idéalement situé dans Taormine, il permet de visiter la ville à pied et d'avoir tout sur place. Chambre agréable avec la clim et une belle vue ainsi qu'un petit frigidaire utile pour garder des boissons fraîches. Service navette hôtel/plage pour 16E pour deux personnes qui inclut l'aller retour en mini bus, un verre de bienvenue à la plage et un parasol et deux chaises longues. Petit déjeuner en terrasse très agréable. Maria et son père sont des gens très gentils. Seul bémol : notre salle de bain n'était pas attenante à la chambre et n'était pas en très bon état mais super séjour à Taormine !

We had three amazing weeks in Taormina, and Villa Floresta was the perfect place to stay. The owners are very friendly and helpful, giving the hotel a personal atmosphere. The roof top terrace is beautiful and the location at Piazza del Duomo, again, perfect. I will definately go back, hopefully soon!

A wonderful B&B, I cannot fault it. It is a family run B&B by lovely people, they make you feel so welcomed. We had the breakfast every morning which was on a roof terrace with exquisite views over the town square, the sea and mount etna. Maria even made some Jam out of a local fruit, I think it's called a prickly pear. As we are students we had to budget our stay, going for a cheaper B&B. We really weren't expecting it to be as perfect as it was for how much we paid. Our room had more than you could need, a TV, AC, and a balcony view over the sea and the curch. It was really a lovely holiday and we couldn't have asked for more.
