There is a possibility that someone had their TV volume too high, which is always something we can inform them about when you notify us about it. Many of our guests enjoy sitting outside their room and enjoy the fresh air, however, if that is something that is inconvenient to you, then please do accept our apologies. Thank you for the review. We are glad you found it to be ok for the price, the staff to be friendly, and also the beds to be comfortable. We only have either Queen size beds in a double-bed room, or King size bed in a single-bed room, and apologies if they were smaller than you expected. We have coffee from 6-9am in the office every morning. Currently, we do not plan to have coffee machines in the room. Sorry about that. We hope everything else worked out fine for you. We are glad to hear that you are positive about visiting Tazewell and/or Fincastle Motor Inn again.

Thank you for the great review. You did a nice job describing our motel and situation. Yes, we've been trying to keep the rooms updated from the inside more than any other parts of the motel. We also got a major metal roofing job done this past year. Our doors have electronic locks, which means every once in a while, the batteries might die, the readers may freeze or become dirty, and the wires might loosen up a bit, all of which means we have to update locks every so often. We are glad you found our staff to be working hard. This review and rating means a lot to us, and as such, we are very thankful of you. We hope you'll visit us and stay here again.

We are sorry that you had to leave earlier than expected due to an emergency, but we hope everything worked out fine for you. We do not see a point in charging for nights you do not stay, however, there is a cost of losing another potential customer who could have booked that same room when it was reserved under your name. For such reasons, we have our policies in place. Yet, we try to refund whenever possible for better customer satisfaction and experience. Hi, thank you for the review. We understand your concern but our base prices are based off a maximum of 2 people only. Hence the extra fees per extra people. With more people, the chances of the room being damaged is much higher, especially with kids. Also the usage is more than it would be for two people, therefore the extra fees, although we do state that we will charge accordingly ahead of reserving. I hope that answers your questions. You may have kids and adults that leave the room in a nice condition, but that isn’t always the case, especially when we have workers who stay a longer amount of time. Kids after a certain age pretty much occupy the same amount of space per bed as an adult, therefore we charge for kids over a certain age. And sorry if we didn’t explain all this to you right away during check-in.
