“This place was in a good location, we pulled our motorcycle down to Chiefland and spent two weeks here, we would ride to all the small towns on the gulf and each had nice scenic restaurants to eat lunch at. We bought fresh seafood and brought it back to the house to fix for our supper. The kitchen had all the dishes and pans we needed as well as basic spices. Bed was ok and bathroom ok, plenty of room for us and a nice front porch to read on. I would recommend this house and it’s peaceful...

“This is a lovely property near Fanning Springs. The owners were responsive & phoned to make sure everything was in order. The home is extremely comfortable, convenient to Hwy 19, location was perfect. I usually stay in Gainesville when traveling to this area to stay in a hotel, and I’m so glad this popped up on Expedia & I found Tranquil Oaks. I’ll be back when in area. Clean, well lit, peaceful, well stocked, easy entry. Thank you! ”

“We had a wonderful stay at this adorable river house. It was supplied with everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting on the porch or deck and watching the boats on the river. Karen, the host, checked on us and replied quickly when we had a question. I have referred friends and family and we hope to stay there again in the future. I highly recommend this place.”

“Peace and serenity abounds! This property is amazing and has everything you need for your stay! All the light switches are labeled, making it easy. “We had a nice stay at the Riverbend house. We were greeted by John upon our arrival who went over the property and local places of interest. The swiftly moving 66 degree Suwannee was a bit cold for the adults but the kids and our Labrador didn’t seem to mind. It was a nice convenience having a boat ramp on sight. The house was very clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. It’s a great place to just get away”

“John and Mary were awesome hosts! They were able to help us with anything we needed. The house was perfect and comfortable. We do utilize Rentals a lot and this was one of our best yet! We will be back. The screened in porch was such a blessing at night when we just wanted to sit out in the night air and talk. The activities around the house were great for the kids. We will be making this a yearly rental for our family summer trip!”
