“Went to check in at the bar, was taken to the unmanned reception then forgotten about. Stayed on two occasions and happened both times. It seemed staff were more focussed on bar customers than staying ones. Staff got dinner booking times wrong twice and failed to inform me about the option for a larger cooked breakfast at Idle Rocks. “Truro is a lively town with lots to do. Mannings is centrally located with a decent sized, private secure car park. The room was a bit tired to be honest though. Bathroom needs updating and the carpets are old. The bed was a big problem. It was so old the mattress sunk in the middle which meant my feet were the highest point of my body lying down.
