Very small rooms and chaotic dining experience. We also needed to leave after the first day due to a family emergency and they said we would have to get the refund for second night from Expedia and then Expedia said the Hotel had refused a refund for the second night. I would not recommend this hotel or even the town

Beautiful location and setting for the lodge. Staffs were welcoming, hospitable and friendly. A perfect stopover at Cradle Mountain.

Absolutely gorgeous scenery. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. Had the most amazing stay. Was only suppose to stay one night but extended the stay because we enjoyed it so much. So relaxing will be back. Thank you so much stafff!!!

Cannot Check in until 5 pm. Room is really too small. One queen bed, one chair, one small.fridge.Then just enough space to walk around the bed.

Our room was basic but clean, with no outlook to the lake. However, no soap was available for showering - we had to use the shampoo that was available, and the mattress a little hard - used the doona to soften it. Ambience in the bar, cafe and restaurant was good, with lovely outlook to the lake, and comfortable couches to relax on before and after meals. Breakfasts were excellent, pizzas good, and restaurant meals pub average.

Really enjoyed our short stay there. Room could be improved with some shelving and hooks in the bathroom as there is nothing to put toiletries on or to hang towels. Also a suitcase stand would be handy.

This amazing slice of Tasmanian wilderness made accessible by Tullah Lakeside is a wonderful place to visit. We hired Kyacks and went out onto Lake Rosebery which was surreal. We have already recommended it to future visitors of ours and can’t wait to experience different seasons there. Thankyou

Wow what a view with mountains all around. Surrounded by shrubs and trees leading down to the huge lake. What a great setting. Food was great a wonderful selection served for most of the day. Bedrooms were good. They were in about 3 long dormitories on the ground floor. You can park next to them.

Super thankful to reception and cleaning staff that allowed us to check in 2 hrs earlier and get out of the torrential rain. Room was clean and comfortable - only drawback is being able to hear everyone and everything in hallway outside of rooms.

Perhaps the experience here is different when it is not early January and packed. We imagined a quiet place by a lake. The lake is there, but so were a thousand other people. The noise in the dining room was unbearable. Our room was just acceptable, at least it was clean and the bed was ok. However the only window faced a place where people could walk past and the only way to deal with that was to close the blackout curtains. We cut short our stay.

2 night stay close to Cradle Mountain NP.
Our second stay at Tullah Lakeside Lodge did not disappoint. Location sells it for us, and accommodation is well presented.

I have stayed here a couple of times now, love the quiet area surrounded buy a big lake . The rooms are always nice and clean and affordable, The staff are so friendly and helpful , the Tavern has a excellent range of meals and they are really nice and reasonably priced . Will be going back again in the future

No wifi in room, the one in the restaurant worked nicely. Room OK for simple sleep. Food looked yammy but nobidy took our order in like 45 minutes so we left.

Sensational surroundings with nature at its best
Really nice surroundings and staff were very helpful. Tavern food good but some meals where overpriced. We booked to have a quiet room away from any noise and they had the decency to give us a room at the end and have no one else stay near us.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay- from the check in to the check out. Staff, especially Jenny was very friendly and helpful. Our room/cabin was just the basic one, at the time of booking I couldn't get any lake view cabin. But it was clean, organised plus the amenities were just right for us, though I don't fancy the liquid soap container as it was hard to press and even when I am able to, only a little bit of soap is dispensed. I would have preferred a bar of soap. At the shower, the shampoo and body soap dispenser was less stiff and is easier to use. Hot and water preelssure was strong though during the early morning hours it took a while to warm up. But at night I enjoyed the warm shower before bedtime. The place itself was tranquil, lake was charming, surrounding areas, the garden, the table settings and furniture were tasteful and to my liking. The restaurant was cosy though can be full at dinner time. Service was always fast, never a long wait. Loved the complimentary pint of dark ale for my hub and lemonade for me, as Jenny said it was free as our anniversary treat, thanks a lot to her. Hun loved his Supreme Pizza, and I enjoyed the chicken and corn soup which was a very generous serve. The second night was also pizza for my hub this time, a smaller one but still huge! Of course he finished his Firebreather pizza. My roast pork and gravy with hot veggies was good, though some slices were a bit chewy for me. Thanks again to all the staff! We'll be back
