Lovely rooms. Beds are kinda hard. Thin walls Will be lovely in summer Great bathroom and kitchen.

On arrival A/C was on and room smelt bad. Turned off the A/C and it was a bit better. Very poor condition especially in the bathroom. Tile’s missing around sink, dark mold on lower edge of window in bathroom. Flooring has dirt and stained areas. Yes this is the off season fall but the pictures on Expedia showed quite nice rooms. The design is awesome but would have liked a newer room. Only one night stay so managed but for the price should have had a newer remodeled room.

The property is great though under construction. New Zealand overall at this part is not pedestrians friendly and walking across the major roads all require one yielding to cars. Thus, we basically need to drive to a 5 min walk supermarket to get groceries. There's very limited dining options near this property.

Thank you for your review, i would like to correct one thing, i am a little confused as there are pedestrian crossings to use to get across the road and its not a major road to go across. Dining we are limited but do have plenty to offer.

Excellent customer service, very hospitable and helpful. Functional 3 bedroom unit, useful for families traveling with children or friends. Walkable to grocery and dining options.

It is a good property for small family visits. It's currently undergoing external upgrades so it should be even better when they are done. It's got everything you need in the rooms and just a walk from the shops and restaurants.

Nice large cabins with everything you need. Our cabin could need some minor maintenance: the dryer door was duck-taped, carpets worn and the TV short of a power outlet, but it was clean and functional. One big minus though for the mounted soap/shampoo/conditioner bottles: they were not sealed and obviously refilled a couple of times and what you could see through the bottle didn’t look good…

Lots of facilities
The hotel has a lot of facilities including pool, spa, games room and crazy golf. I booked the hotel for it's location rather than the facilities so it was a nice surprise. The pizza restaurant opposite was very good

The stay was very pleasent. Very clean and organized rooms. Had a lot of space. However the wi-fi didnt work most of the time. Also the beds werent very comfortable.

We loved our stay here! The little cabins were so nice. Very clean. Lots of room for kids to run around. We used the pool, it was great. There is a cute pizza shop right across the street we walked there for dinner. We really enjoyed our stay!

While there were renovations going on this didn't stop the quality being top notch. From a friendly smiling face at check in to great conveniences like a swimming pool and games room (which the kids took full advantages of) to the spaciousness of the room along with everything you could think of needing (including toaster, kettle microwave/cooker etc). Was certainly recommend as well as stay again and again.

The property is very good. Excellent location, spacy room, good organised kitchenette. Pool and spa are clean and in a good operational condition. The only one thing which don't give me a chance to rate the property with five stars is a construction inside the inner area which is definitely a temporary nuisance.

This property is mid rejuvenation. The exterior is under construction and the room interiors have new carpets but they need new beds, furniture, bathrooms etc. the bathroom counter had tiles missing etc. the staff and management were wonderful and very helpful and everything was clean but in need of replacement. Beds and upholstered furniture a top priority. Hopefully these are part of this ongoing renovation

Great for what we needed. I didn't feel comfortable letting the kids go anywhere by themselves. The play area was overgrown and looked to be fenced off so am glad we had things to pass the time. Had a small issue and no one was available to tell. The actual unit itself was perfect, though, and we'll be back. Clean, great to have a washing machine, dryer and kitchenette. Fab for the price we paid.

Perfect 2 nights
Stayed 2 nights as it was close to the Tongariro crossing. The Spa was handy after completing the hike. Easy and close walk to New World for groceries. There's a pool, mini golf and games room for guests to use. Look out for Boo the cat.

Very old lodge. Our room had a newly-installed a/c that wasn’t working. The old bathroom fixtures still have separate hot and cold faucets(haven’t seen that in a house since the 70’s). The grounds are completely under construction. Sarah at the front desk was lovely.

Best place in Turangi!
Very friendly receptionist so made us feel very welcome. Fantastic accommodation! So spacious and had everything so cooking dinner was easy . Quiet and super clean . Really enjoyed our stay here. Close to shops too. Highly recommend!

Large, spacious rooms for the price. Room was clean and had everything we needed and the onsite jacuzzi was great after hiking Tongariro. The parking situation was a little confusing (were we supposed to park horizontally or vertically and the space numbers were faded out) but otherwise a very pleasant stay.
