We stayed at the Bali Spirit Hotel in Sept 2023 and really enjoyed the hotel, its facilities and its close location to central Ubud without actually being in extremely busy Ubud town center! I walked it and its about 20mins long route following roads into Ubud from hotel - there is a quicker route through the Monkey Forest which I didn't walk but shaves off 10 mins apparently! Hotel factifies great - great breakfast - friendly and smiley staff as always and rooms amazing views over Cos River! Thumbs up here!!!

Je ne recommande absolument pas cet hôtel, une catastrophe ! L’état général de l’hôtel est désastreux. Tout à très mal vieilli, est vétuste et très mal entretenu. Ne vous fiez surtout pas aux jolies photos que vous pouvez voir sur les sites de réservations de voyages. Nous avions réservé pour une petite quinzaine de jours mais dès le lendemain de notre arrivée nous avons décidé de changer d’hôtel. Il a besoin d’un sérieux coup de neuf et d’entretien.

バスルームは若干古いと感じたが、ベッドは清潔で快適でした。またバルコニーからは緑豊かな景色や川が見え、水の流れる音がして、とてもリラックスできた。 ただ、ホテル全体は、新型コロナウィルスの影響で経営的にはダメージを受けている印象。その理由は朝食はレストランではなく、前日にナシゴレン、ミーゴレン、アメリカンから選択してフロントに連絡、部屋まで持ってきてもらう形になっていた。フルーツが6切れとナシゴレン、ミーゴレン。アメリカンはオムレツとトースト。プールはゴミが浮いていて毎朝ケアされていないし、かつてはプールバーがあったと思われる施設があったが、今は稼働していなかった。 設備など少し残念な部分もあったが、大きな問題なく、快適に過ごせた。

Old hotel and bad service.
The Hotel is very old, bathroom very old and basic, we had problems with hot water, internet and they even charge us to stay longer even though the hotel was empty. There are plenty beautiful places in Ubud with way better services that treat people like people not like walking money. I would never repeat or recommend this place.

Tranquil setting in Ubud
Bali Spirit was everything we wanted - nice, relaxing pool area with friendly bar staff. Good restaurant on site serving hot breakfast with options pleasing to the whole family. My sons enjoyed the banana pancakes, and my husband and I loved the fried rice with a fried egg. We got pizza for the boys one night and they enjoyed it. The property gardens are beautiful, providing a loving retreat walking distance from downtown Ubud. We rented scooters instead of using the provided transportation, but it was nice to have options.

This property has beautiful breath taking views from your balcony. So first as we entered the lobby it was a big lobby witj open patio so u could see all the trees and it was beautiful. They gave us welcoming drinks and rang a bell to welcome us. The room is decent not the best like u don’t get a cattle to make tea and stuff. The mini bar has little snacks but they’re not worth the price. The balcony on the superior/delux room is amazing. The breakfast is some what ok. It’s not a buffet it’s a set menue so we just ordered diffrent number of American breakfast and shared how ever u can ask for extra food if u want. The pools are amazing there are two pools. There is a river down you can go to too and it’s amazing. We swam with local teenagers in the river and bought them pizza it was amazing will never forget this. One negative is that there aren’t a lot of shops near by but if you go to ubud town whicb is like 10 mins on a bike or 30 mins by walk thru monkey forest then you can rent a bike for your trip which is what we done. The hotel is very close to monkey forest we rode bicycle during midnights be careful of the dogs other than that it’s amazing. USE GRAB FOR TAXI!! Local prizes are ridiculous or if u want a local one then try bargain and try get closer to the price you would pay on grab.

No hand railing to get into the pool and I found the first step deep and also slippery. The gardener helped me to step out. We loved the staff but I need to swim safely. They were receptive to the idea of a hand railing but I would guess it will not be done. Lovely bed and garden.

Hotel typowo stylem balijski, pokoje wygodne, meble wysłużone. Bardzo dużo zieleni -wszędzie, jeśli ktoś lubi kontakt z naturą będzie zachwycony. Obsługa hotelu bardzo miła i pomocna, obiór z lotniska wzorcowy. Bezproblemowa komunikacja w jeżyku angielskim. Śniadania typowo Balijskie. Trochę słyszalny ruch uliczny. szczególnie w domkach położonych na przeciwko drogi. Ale i tak warto, hotel godny swojej ceny. Mało lokali w okolicy ale hotel ma pełne menu, przystępne ceny, do Monkey forest 15 minut.

I loved my stay at Bali Spirit Hotel & Spa. The staff was so friendly and accommodating...they really went the extra mile. The grounds are beautiful. Very peaceful place to retreat from in the beautiful (but crowded) Ubud area. I have to give this place 5 stars, but there were some drawbacks. Room 108 (an emerald room) was not what I expected. I didn't see any photos on the website that mirrored the room I was given. Granted, I booked the least expensive room that was offered, but based on the pictures on the website, I expected a different room. Also, the internet was spotty and not accessible while laying in bed in room 108. I can't speak for any other rooms on the property, but we had to go to the pool to get Internet. A very small price to pay, as the pool area is beautiful, but if you say "Free WiFi"...I guess I would expect to access it from anywhere on the property. All that said, I would stay here again in a heartbeat. The staff and grounds are well worth it for the price!

The layout of the Bali Spirit is really unique. A series of villas on a small incline makes for a really unique experience. The pool is a great sunny space, with a fun pool-side bar and very attentive service. The hotel is the nice kind of rustic experience. Areas for improvement, yes, sure, but its also part of the charm. Would love to stay again!

We had a great stay! Staff are amazing, always happy to help! The hotel and the views are amazing! A bit far for walking to the central market, however they have a few shuttles during the day. Pool is beautiful! We will definitely stay here again!

Relaxing and fantastic service.
The location was lovely out of Ubud town centre. Couldn't fault the service very helpful, the shuttle was always on time and very useful. Very clean hotel.

Heaps of stairs to get to your room. It was ok this resort however I would not stay here again. It’s a bit out of town and have yo get the shuttle in and out. Our room smelt of vomit that was terrible. They changed our room then yo a different room and it was older and needed renovating. They then moved us to a mother room and it was just ok. As I said I wouldn’t stay here again.

Pictures don’t do the resort justice!
On arriving at Bali Spirit we were in awe of the property. It’s like being in a tropical jungle oasis. We enjoyed wandering the small paths and many stairways, exploring the property, it’s statues and flora. Our room overlooked the main pool and had all of the modern comforts. WiFi was quick and worked well throughout the resort and in our room. The pictures didn’t do the resort or room justice! The breakfast buffet has several options that were made in small portions and restocked often so that the food was fresh. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful in renting a motor bike and booking our transfer. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Godt hotel
Selve hotellet er skønt. Senge i orden, men wifi trænger til en opgradering, næste umuligt at bruge, da man bliver smidt af konstant. Tv med dårligt signal. Restaurant med gennemsnitlig morgen mad. Aftensmad svarer ikke til det man bestiller. Så den anbefales ikke.

We enjoyed our stay. Breakfast and food was really good. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Polite service and amazing lush relaxing location. Wish could’ve stayed longer although we were here for 4 nights.

受付も荷物を運んでくださる方も親切で良かった。朝食もインドネシア料理も食べることができ、美味しかったので満足。街まで離れているので送迎の車が時間通りにこないことと、本数が少ない事が残念。部屋はベッドメイキングだけしただけだったようだった。

Beachfront villas, infinity pool, tropical landscaping, gorgeous staff, small sandy beach AND happy hour meant we didn’t want to leave. My current fave Bali getaway place.
