“We loved this property. We were looking for something authentic and this was definitely it. This apartment had lots of character and ambience. it was well equipped for cooking and living. We loved the spiral staircase and the bedroom on the upper level. We also built a fire in the outdoor fireplace. The grocery store up the street was fantastic along with the fact that it had fill your own bottle of red or white wine.”

“We really enjoyed our week at Villa Caruso. The property is very well maintained and equipped, including everything you could need in the kitchen if you plan to cook at home. Lake Maggiore itself is incredibly beautiful and the view from the villa is absolutely stunning - the pictures really don't do it justice. “Probably the nicest villa we've stayed at in many years of coming to Italy; beautifully situated right on Como with a swimming dock that private boat rentals can also come to directly. There is easy access to town walking along a protected pedestrian pathway separated from the road.
