Really amazing
The house is amazing. It is cozy, clean and spacious. Liz is the perfect host: professional, always available, and very kind. And, of course, Varenna is quite and very nice. We had 4 amazing days in that house!

Casa molto grande, ben tenuta e pulita. Cucina ben attrezzata. Anche i proprietari sono molto gentili e disponibili. Anche il paese è molto bello, sia per brevi soggiorni sia lunghi. Io e i miei amici ci siamo trovati bene. La consiglio sicuramente 😊

Wonderful Location and Property
My family and I spent a few days here and loved the location and property. The setup was perfect for our small children and allowed us to walk everywhere in town including the ferry and train station. Liz was great at communicating and had some nice snacks waiting for us in the kitchen.

3 generations trip to Italy
IDEAL location to piazza, restaurants and food shops! Church bells on the hour (except 10pm-7am) which were beautiful. Elizabetta’s touches were the best we have ever experienced-eggs, milk, juice, yogurt, bread, cereal…left for our 1st morning were so wonderful. Heated floors and heated towel racks - swoon! Elizabetta’s communication, reach ability and recommendations were exceptional (restaurants, taxis, must sees, etc). It was an amazing experience for our family! (Grandparents, parents and 3 boys - ages 8, 10 & 13).

Varenna stay
Loved our stay. Perfect location. Right by small town ctr. Could get our coffee, sandwiches etc a few steps away. So much room for us 6 adults. Very clean! Lots of room for everyone. Bedrooms nice size and AC in the bedrooms were perfect for the hot weather. Highly recommend. Would def stay here again. Liz was awesome and easy to communicate with. 5 Stars!!

Amazing
The location was prime - within walking distance to the main Piazza , the Lake walk and the Ferries. Our hostess Liz was alway available for communication purposes. Highly recommend this amazing Villa Grazie Frank Penny David & Rosemary

Wonderful!
This was the perfect place to stay for us (two couples) in Varenna: the main square was a short walk; Villa Cipressi was directly across the street. Parking garage just next door. It would also be a great spot for a family with children, as they had cribs, potty seats, toys. The house is well stocked with kitchen supplies and the host left coffee, cream, sugar, eggs, bread and marmalade as a wonderful greeting. Thank you Liz! The host is very responsive and helpful with any questions about the house and also provided recommendations in Varenna.

Wohnung top. Zufrieden.
Die Lage ist sehr zentral. Wohnung sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet. Parken nur im Parkhaus möglich. Daher Zusatzkosten einplanen. Erst ab 22 Uhr 200 m weiter Kostenloses Parken möglich. Sehr viel Verkehr. Sehr nette 3-sprachige (Italienisch, Englisch und Deutsch) Vermieterin mit guter Orga. Defekte Klima und Spülmaschine wurde bereits am nächsten Tag repariert. Varenna an sich ist sehr touristisch. Ein Essenstisch für mehr als 4 Personen zu bekommen, ist unmöglich (zumindest in der Hauptsaison mit ungeduldigen Kinder).

Great Stay
The unit was clean, comfortable, and well stocked. Elisabetta was a wonderful host. There is no view of the water, but it is in a great location — especially since we were attending a wedding across the street at Villa Monastero.

Awesome location
The house is large - stretched out over 3 floors. So if stairs are hard for you this may be a challenge. The stairs are steep and the master bedroom is on the top floor . However the view from the master is stunning and there is a small balcony that fits 2 chairs - lovely in the morning and late afternoon. The living area and kitchen is on the first floor. The kitchen is updated but the living area is a little shabby but comfortable. The space ends up being dark because it is on a main road and the windows are covered 3/4 way up with a textured acrylic type material for privacy. In the summer I imagine it is a welcoming cool temperature but in the spring it was chilly without a heat source except a wood stove. The bathrooms were clean and the showers had great water pressure. There is a little outside garden area that was quiet and surrounded by trees. No view of the lake in that area. Liz and Laura were great with communication and very helpful . The kitchen was stocked with waters, yogurt, bread and eggs and butter and jam and milk. There were some bags of snacks on the table and cereal . All a lovely surprise! Out the door and across the street and you are near restaurants and shops. Ferry was about a 10 minute walk. So location is fantastic!! There were 4 adults in our party and there was plenty of room and privacy for all. We had a delightful stay.

Varenna's wonderful
The house, although on the main road into town, was quiet and lovely. It was well equipped and the agents left us fabulous goodies to start of our stay. I would highly recommend this home. But remember, Americans, the first floor is our second in all of Italy. So the bedrooms are all upstairs!

Perfect Property and Stay!
We were a group of 6 staying here. Beautiful, spacious and clean. Convenient to everything! Liz, Flora and Victor were all a pleasure to communicate with. Flora and Victor met us upon our arrival and explained everything. We were provided with fruit, bread and cookies. Would definitely like to stay here again. Thank you Liz!

Perfect place in Varenna
Flora and her son were very gracious when we arrived 2 hours late due to train delays. They showed us around and told us everything we needed to know, despite the fact that they had another appointment. The house was PERFECT! More space than we needed (we are two couples traveling together) and would be perfect for families. Small balcony from our room, a garden with a table and chairs in the back, fully stocked kitchen, and comfortable seating area. The rooms are huge and nicely appointed. On a main road, but very quiet. We walked to the house from the train station (about 1 km), but Flora arranged for a taxi for us on the return. We highly recommend this house and cannot say enough about how great Flora was!

Beautiful Town steps from Cuomo and town square
Our family had a delightful time at this beautiful place. Although on the main road, it was quiet and spacious and provided some good views from the balcony. Parking was not a problem and we were Steps From the town square and a short walk to the Waterfront where numerous restaurants abound. The views from the lakefront and adjacent properties were beautiful and everything was within a short walk. We enjoyed the trip to Bellagio and access to the ferry. I would recommend this property and certainly visit again.

Wonderful stay in Varenna.
The apartment was spacious, clean, comfortable and in a great location. The weather was hot but the fans provided were very helpful. I would definitely stay here again!

convenient location
Overall experience was very good, house could use some maintenance (shower head in master bath held up by rubber band for example). We slept 8 comfortably, easy access to the lake for a swim, Varenna is a small town but the location provided easy access to everything. Traffic was audible occasionally.

Great Stay
Your home is in a great location and it was an easy walk to get to the dock. Two small grocery stores were just down the street. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The home was clean, plenty of sleeping options, comfortable linens and great ambience. With The size of your home, we three couples never felt cramped.

Springtime in Varenna
We arrived in Varenna just as the wisteria was in bloom. The excellent location of our lodging enabled us to visit Villa Monstero and the gardens of the Villa Cipressi while they were in full bloom. The house was perfect for 5. Lots of space to move around, plenty of bathrooms and a delightful secret patio which we used to have apertivi. It was equipped with stove, dish washer, washing machine and electric kettle. The location was perfect for walking to the cafe for cappuccino, strolling along the shores of Lake Como and access to the ferry. It was an easy drive from. Milan and Flora was waiting for us when we got there. We managed boat rides to Bellagio, Menaggio and Como. We never moved the car the whole time we were there. A perfect trip for us.

Perfect location!
Beautiful property. Much better than I expected. The pictures do not do it justice. Clean. Well stocked. And plenty of square footage when compared to most in the area. Best part is the location. Just off the central square. Plenty of restaurants, historical churches (love the bells that toll on the hour), as well as a couple of markets. Overall, could not have been more pleased! The website and photos do not do this property justice. The place is centrally located, directly across the street from Villa Ciprese and Villa Monastero which both are well worth a visit for their stunning gardens. The property has three floors, with the first being a modern, well equipped kitchen, dining area and living room with a half bathroom, the second has a queen sized bedroom, full bathroom and second bedroom with two twin sized beds, going up, there is third bedroom with a twin sized bed and finally a 4th bedroom that is very large and has a king sized bed and a twin day bed as well with an enormous bathroom and cute balcony. In addition, there is a private yard with a table and chairs outside the third level on the back side of the building. The town is beautiful, with picturesque sights everywhere you turn. We highly recommend the restaurant Al Prato nearby, we are only sorry that we waited our last night to go there, it was amazing! The tourist shop is steps away just up the street along with a village square that has the main church, several restaurants, a meat and cheese shop, small grocery store and pharmacy. I would go back in a heartbeat.

Beautiful Italian Town on Lake Como
We had a good trip to Varenna and Lake Como. There is so much to do and see it was amazing. The house was in a great location just on the edge of town and had parking (for a Fee) in the local car park which is right next door. Just be aware on the weekends it is busy but if you wait you will get in in a short amount of time. The house owner met us and provided some simple food and details on the house they were so accommodating and welcoming. We enjoyed hanging out on the top floor balcony and watching the people in the evening with some nice Italian wine.

Roomy property in the center of varenna
Our family of 6 stayed quite comfortably in the house. The kitchen was well equipped and they even provided milk, eggs, fruit, and cookies for the kids. The location was great! Extremely short walks to the water and varenna town square. One thing to note, though, is that there is no air conditioning. It got especially hot & sticky on the 3rd floor during our June visit. Overall, it was an amazing trip. Thank you!!
