We are sorry if the problems highlighted have had such a strong impact on your stay.However, we would like to point out that following your report on the safe we tried to resolve the problem first with assistance and then with the technician who found an unresolvable fault and thus had to order a new safe. This shows that things are the opposite of what you supposed, that is, the hotel and its rooms need continuous maintenance and repairs to restore the proper functioning of all the systems which often break due to lack of care or incompetence on the part of some customers.As for rates, we guarantee that we are also subject to price fluctuations based on the season as are most hotels, including our competitors.We are sorry if the staff at the reception gave you a cold impression, even though we provided you with some information about the city and gave you support for restaurant reservations; we usually adapt based on guests' needs while respecting their availability for dialogue and their privacy

We are sorry if your stay was not satisfactory and you decided to leave without even discussing it with our reception.As regards the temperature in the rooms, however, we had just made the reversal from winter to summer mode and the adjustment does not happen easily considering that the external temperature in this period of May is around 15 degrees.You are probably used to having AC all year round in your home country in the Caribbean, but here with around 20 degrees in the rooms there is no need.As for the smells you may have smelled on the ground floor, they depend on the tide and there isn't much you can do about it given that Venice is a city built above the water and you can often smell them along the banks of the canals and in the porticoes even outside....just as it arrived with the tide then it tends to go away soon.

The hotel is small in size as it consists of only 8 rooms, a breakfast room and a hall. We are sorry if you had some difficulty finding the front door which is located in a recess of the street, but it is usually found easily by our guests if they read the instructions to reach us.As for the air conditioning, it was possible to regulate it via the thermostat in the room, although during the period of your stay (mid-October) it is not used much since it is around 14 degrees outside and the heating is soon activated.

We are sorry if your stay was not entirely satisfactory.You stayed in early June, in a period in which the temperature fluctuated a lot and during the night it dropped to around 15 degrees. For this reason, the air conditioning system, although active and guaranteeing about 21 degrees in the room, did not work at full capacity as it happens during the summer. We could also give you electric mosquito repellent if you asked for it at reception, so you wouldn't have had any problems even with the windows open.
