“We had a super stay and it was ideal for our mixed family group. Very well equipped and beautifully appointed. Our only disappointment was the lack of the BBQ as we had meals planned and food bought! After discussion with the host we bought a small BBQ which we have left at the property so that no one else will be in our position!”

“First time at the Fayvan Apartments and we will definitely be back, it really is a little gem of a place. Benita was the perfect host and so friendly (hope you are feeling better). Apartment 4 Only downside - there was over 70+ stairs to climb but don't let this put you off, you only have to climb them once a day if you spend the full day out and about. “My partner was on crutches & just getting to the hostel was very difficult. We were booked in at a room which she literally could not get to. However, the staff were brilliant & swapped us to a room with easier access. She then phoned Whitby up and organised one of the new tents for us the next night.Both stays were brilliant,as we're the staff.Could not fault them in any way whatsoever. I'm 71,my partner is55,and neither of us can wait to take our next hosteling adventure!”

“Paul and Julia run a lovely house. They were welcoming and helpful. Our room was spacious and well appointed, with a lovely new shower. The bus stop is right out the front door and Pannett Park with its Whitby museum are within a 2 minute walk. Town is less than 10 minutes on foot. Breakfast was wonderful each day and my only regret is not planning a longer stay! ”
