So close to the beach (private) come out of your room and walk a couple of steps and the beach is there🏖️ room was comfortable but old Bathroom needs a make over water pressure (none) DO NOT drink the water faucet in tub loose Towels changed daily but not the sheets they had rust stains which was not changed for the 4 nights we were there Also the beach towels also had rush on them Breakfast comes to your room daily have coffee and tea but don’t use the water buy bottle water no room service can only eat from 12-8p at the on site restaurant after it closes that’s it until the morning small store walking distance from resort quite expensive but if you want snacks water drinks that’s were you go

Dear Sadler, thanks for your honest review. Please note that Pelican Beach Hotel is an older property and so might not be as modern as you would prefer, however we take pride in providing a comfortable and friendly island vacation. While we take care to make updates during our annual seasonal closure our goal is to provide a nostalgic Caribbean experience. The hotel uses filtered ground water in rooms as there is no city water available on the Island. We advised on check-in all water options.Your concerns about bedsheets will be addressed with housekeeping. What you described is not consistent with hotel policy. The only way this would happen is if the guest requested no housekeeping service.North Caicos is a laid-back quiet island with a very small population; and so, must businesses currently do not say open longer than 8pm or 9pm; consistent with demand.Thanks for choosing Pelican Beach Hotel. We are sorry that we did not measure up to your expectations however we do wish you pleasant vacations moving forward.Kind regards

Perfect place is you want just relax … The property was very nice. Well Kept. You need to take a ferry to the hotel. The ferry runs only certain times so make sure your flight comes in early enough to make the ferry times. The staff was really friendly and super helpful. I was surprised no phones in the room but I guess this helps to give the relaxation aspect. Caution….mosquito/sand flies will eat you alive … bring bug repellent!

Quiant hotel tucked away in North Caicos. Great staff,Kay was very welcoming, always has a smile on her face and gave my wife and I great insight on how to maximize our experience! Highly recommend this place to anyone who prefers a quite,secluded experience.

Wonderful little gem of a hotel for a couple nights exploring North and Middle Caicos. Loved the direct beach access, yummy breakfasts brought to our room, and convenient bar/grill on site for evening dinner and drinks. Donna at the front desk was delightful and gave us helpful tips on what to see and do while on the island.

Perfect location for a full immersion in a Natural Paradise. Staff and owner extremely kind and welcoming. We needed a week of total relax and we found this little treasure. A small Spa and a small Beach Bar that serves lunch and dinners completed the experience. Thank you for your excellent hospitality.

The hotel is located in a remote, quiet area. The grounds of the property were well kept. The beach is absolutely beautiful. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My only complaint would be the beds in the room. The beds and pillows are awful!! It was like sleeping on the floor with rocks as pillows. The beds were very noisy and moved with the slightest motion. I really tried to make it work. Even placing a few towels over the pillows didn’t do anything. We had 6 pillows in our room for the two full size beds and they were all the same. It was disappointing spending such wonderful days then having to come back to such uncomfortable beds at the end of the day.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at Pelican Beach Hotel. The beach right in front of our room was our favorite spot to relax on the island. The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. The included breakfast and the meals we purchased at the bar and grill were very good. We have no complaints and would definitely stay another week here. I would suggest reviewing the ferry schedule before booking your stay since it is the primary way to get to Middle Caicos.

Pelican Beach was a great place to stay and relax! The beach was literally at our doorstep, clean room and grounds with excellent service. Kay made our stay extra comfortable, she was prompt and friendly with any requests. Breakfast was brought to our room every morning at our requested time, which was a great perk. The Barracuda Beach Bar had good food and drinks onsite. We hope to return in the future!!

The most beautiful perfect spot on a gorgeous beach. Amazing. Lovely staff, all very kind, especially Kay. Delicious breakfasts every morning, brought to your room, different every day, terrific. The room is basic, older but clean. The location on the beach is the reason to stay here. Very peaceful.

This really is a lovely retreat. Very quiet (not for party animals!). The beach is spectacular and the sea is very safe for swimming. The staff were excellent, very efficient and friendly.

If you want a quiet, peaceful island life experience then you need to go here. The North Island is charming and has everything you need for a week or two away and the Pelican is the diamond in the rough with Donna and her staff making us feel like friends not customers. The onsite restaurant has a good selection of food and everything we ate was very good. The bar is right on the beach and is an awesome place to grab a drink and watch the waves roll in. If all you need is a beach, a clean comfortable room, home cooked food and a friendly atmosphere then this is the place for you…

We only stayed for one night, so we had 2 days to explore north and middle Caicos. The hotel was perfect for us, we got a room with view to the ocean, it was amazing to wake up looking at that blue marvelous sea. We also really enjoyed the dinner (they have the best restaurant in North Caicos) and the breakfast served at our room.

Family like feeling from the moment we arrived. Very warm and caring staff.Communication between staff was a plus. This location’s view and team make this is hidden gem. My husband and I have been enamored with or stay here. Kay and Donna, millions of thank you’s for a magnificent holiday & beautiful memories that were created. Staff provided extensive tips to the islands best and beautiful places to experience. Car rental, assistance for this is provided by the hotel to travel North Caicos.

Nice beachfront stay
Traveled to North Caicos on a whim because we couldn't find last-minute lodging on Provo for one of the nights on our trip. Pelican Beach was a perfect spot for us. The location is right on the beach. Room was clean. Service was good. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Called the hotel before arrival and they procured a taxi (get Mac with M&M if you can!) for us to pick us up from the ferry terminal. There is a small beach bar on-site that makes a good rum punch and has a small menu that is varied enough for anyone. Not much around so if you don't have a car you still have everything you need right here.

Idyllic and amazing
Pelican Beach is simple, lovely, charming and right on the water. The food is far better than anything you'll find in an all-inclusive on West Caicos. The rooms are clean, simple and have air con. It's not luxurious, it's a place to go when you want to disconnect and just relax. You can walk the beach in either direction and see almost nobody else. That was appealing to us.

Private beach and ocean in your front yard!!!
We just returned from a six night visit and found the staff, meals, beach bar drinks, and hotel services to be very good in spite of the age of the facilities. Suzie and Clifford will make sure that you have a great stay. The beach is steps away from your door and a few miles long. Several walks and NO other walkers most times. The Baracuda Beach Bar has COLD beer and surprisingly good grilled fish and burgers. The conch is from the front yard. A trip to middle Caicos, Kew, and all roads on No. Caicos can be done with a two day car rental if you stop along the route. This is no Club Med or Provo parasail beach, but more like your own private beach retreat.

Your hotel room could not be closer to the ocean
Had a beautiful time staying at the Pelican. Suzanne was so sweet and our room was amazing. We slept with the windows open every night and the sound of the waves crashing was unreal. If you step outside your door onto your private patio and take about 20 steps forward you will be standing in the ocean...amazing. There was no hair dryer or phone in the room which was a little surprising and made me nervous incase there was some kind of emergency in the middle of the night when no one was around. Other than that the food was good, the staff was awesome and the location could not be beat. I enjoyed the solitude of the North Island and will definitely be back.

The hotel had a great location and great history however the rooms felt old and run down. For the same price, we found better accommodations near Mudjin Harbor.

Good for the area.
The hotel was one of the few available when we booked. I had not expected it to be much good but it turned out to be fairly pleasant. The breafkfast sounded like it was going to be free but when we went down it rapidly became apparent that it was not complemenary and it was both expensive and pretty awful. My partners piece of ham was falvourless and chewy like rubber. My eggs and bacon was just that... 2 eggs, and 2 pices of bacon... nothing else with it... I had to ask for some bread. Apparet from the breakfast a good place. They also do car hire.

Wonderful location
The hotel itself is in a wonderful location. It is right on the beach. Your morning view with coffee is the beautiful water. The hotel owners and staff are wonderful. The hotel itself needs a bit of updating. There was barely any water pressure to take a shower, but I didn't care so long as I had that view. No t.v. or phone in the room which at first was difficult to take. By the second day I was fine with this as I really needed to escape the world. Not a lot of restaurants in the area which made the choices limited. We did eat at the restaurant each morning and night. Wonderful cooking by Suzie.

This place was so adorable. Off the beaten path. Cozy and Comfortable. It was directly on the beach so you did not have to leave if you did not want to. They had a bar that was a leap from the ocean, and they had chairs really close to the water you could lounge in. We rented a car and drove over to Middle Caicos - A MUST !! Then we came home and drank whiskey under the stars. Seriously, the stars were a blanket covering the sky. The water was beautiful, and you could walk down the beach a little way and be completely alone. This place is so perfect for anyone wanting to vacation away from everyone. Provo is for tourists, this is for the adventurous. Really great for couples, not for families, which is what I liked the most. The owner was the sweetest ever. Made us a delicious breakfast. They had wifi so you could email people back home if you needed to. I absolutely loved this place and will be back every time I fly into TCI. The only downfall is you can't drink the water in the room. They provide you with a jug of drinking water but I went down the road and bought a bunch of water bottles.

No TV, no phone, but we didn't miss them with the view and very productive swimming & beach combing to keep us busy. We wanted to tour the Conch Bar Caves on Middle Caicos, and Donna and Clifford set us up with a guide even though we hadn't done our research and it was closed on the Sunday.

das kleine Hotel liegt wenige Meter von einem der schönsten Strände Nord Caicos entfernt. Es ist sehr ruhig, die Zimmer haben alle Ausblick auf das türkise Meer . Man bekommt den ganzen Tag über Mahlzeiten in der netten Beach Bar und bei Anmeldung sehr gutes Dinner im Hotelrestaurant. Vom Hotel aus kann man allerlei Exkursionen buchen, Am besten fand ich Kayacking in Major Hill. Für Alleinreisende ist es an regnerischen Tagen mitunter etwas langweilig.

Relax, cut off from the world
Susan's great cooking and kindliness, the magnificent beach bar, great sunsets.Exciting excursions => snorkelling on Three Marys Beach was amazing (just us and the fish, after a wild dirt track ride),. We thought and we probably were the only tourists on the island.The crossing to Middle Caicos is a real roller-coaster. Overall: loved the place.

Great hotel, great location, very nice and friendly staff, and delicious food! Highly recommended!!! The island is very pretty with beautiful beaches and impressive wildlife. Nevertheless, if you are looking for crowds and casinos, you will be better off in Provo.

Loved the location, very quiet and peaceful. The room was what we expected, just the basics, and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was great and the beach bar was fun with good food. Dinners were typical homemade fare with Sue's special touches. The beach was one of the best we've ever experienced anywhere! I think I may have found my heaven in North Caicos.
