The resort is beautiful, it feautures nice rooms in the midst of a wonderful tropical garden. The beach is also nice and we strongly recommend the mood sushi restaurant. However we were really disappointed with the service, which was generally cold. In particular there was a lady at the reception with curly hair and glasses who was hasty and quite arrogant. We didn’t feel welcome at all while checking in and she was always somehow rude every time we spoke with her. Moreover the staff at cabana beach weren’t much cordial and didn’t seem to have much desire to work. On the other hand the guest service workers were really friendly and hard working.

This property has to be the WORST establishment I have ever stayed at! When I say rude, passive & dismissive staff. I had paid for an excursion and sent the staff my location I was going to so my cab could be called by them. They disregarded my request and had the cab drop me to a different excursion company they tried to sell to me. The cab sped off and left me which then at that moment I realized this was not the company I booked, this one was closed. I was then STRANDED on the side of the road sitting on the sidewalk in the sun, as a tourist! Thank God my boyfriend was with me, if not I don’t know what type of danger I would have been in. After an hour of waiting I finally found my own ride back to the hotel (dangerous, but I was drained and ready to just end my last day). Be advised I now missed my excursion to which I had already paid for. Once back at the hotel you would think they would be apologetic, the manager never once came out to speak to me they ( he or she) kept playing telephone with the staff behind a thin wall I would hear. Service there was horrible, you would wait 30-40mins before any would even acknowledge you at the bar. At one point my boyfriend waited 45 mins for his drink to be brought back AFTER the food was already delivered. The last day my frustration was just through the roof and I guess staff seen that once I asked a bar tender to acknowledge me after 25 mins standing and waiting— his response was the finger , as in WAIT ! DO NOT BOOK! Run!

My fiancé and I enjoyed our stay at Kon Tiki but there were a few issues. The bedding was old and bumpy. The toilet was not properly secured to the ground. The staff however were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is nice but needs renovations.

The resort overall is nice, but the rooms , run away! Very old, really dirty and very bad poop smell! They vane to clean and check the room twice, but nothing to do! Very humid and water floating under the floor in the bathroom! Bed sheets dirty! The are really not confortable, they put 2 beds together to make a sleep for 2 ppl, so kinda had to sleep separate from my husband! Each person has a blanket, so you can’t share with your partner, you sleep separate! Very disappointing for the price asking! Not worth it! Thank God i booked on a different resort for the rest of a week. Much much better, for less money!

The grounds were beautiful and well maintained. The only areas for improvement would be there was no vent fan in the bathroom and no shower curtain allowed water to splash on the bathroom floor. They need to install a dresser with drawers to put clothing as clothes storage was somewhat limited.

Beautiful property and fun atmosphere. The location was great and in walking distance to other beach clubs, restaurants and shopping. The resort staff were so nice & helpful. The grounds were well kept, and the food was great!! No complaints!

Had to wait for our room after a very long day and half of travel. Desk clerk said “sorry but I’m not housekeeping”. Beach server took our towels when we went to get coffee. She said once we put our towels down that we can’t leave. Had to go across the resort to get more towels

We messed and thought that the luxury beachfront room would give a view of the ocean from the bed (without leaving the room). The beachfront rooms are on the ground level, and people from the beach constantly walk by your entrance and sometimes mistake it for a public bathroom door. The room was still absolutely beautiful though. Second thing (and MOST important for us). The outlets in the room are European. If you’re American, bring an outlet adapter or ask for them as soon as you get there. Also, there was a huge issue with us not having ANY washcloths/bath cloths to wash our body with. There were numerous towels, but no washcloths. The front desk said that we would have to wait until the next morning to get cloths because they have a shortage AND Dutch people don’t use wash cloths. I informed them that we were not Dutch (shouldn’t matter) and we use washcloths to bathe daily! For a high end luxury stay, that was no excuse. Long story short, they made it right and we had 3 new wash cloths every morning for the rest of our 5 night stay! Thank you. Lastly, if you want to have a quiet, romantic/relaxing night, this may not be the place for you. We were warned in advance so I bought a white noise machine. Had I not done that, I would’ve been very irritable. This location is beside two of the busiest beach clubs. The music lasts until 2-3am for two nights a week. The resort gives you earplugs, but just informing you in advance. Overall, staff are nice and it’s a nice resort.

We had a very pleasant stay. I had two rooms. A tropical room for my kids and a beach front room for myself and my husband. Both rooms were amazing. I paid more for the beachfront room but it was worth the extra cost. You will read reviews about hearing the music from the beachfront rooms and yes you do hear it. It goes until 2:00 am. We were able to sleep through it but it is very loud. There are a variety of restaurants and stores within walking distance. The hotel provides a shuttle to the local market which I recommend you do to get drinks and snacks. The hotel has amazing snorkelling right on the beach. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The property is kept very clean. We will definitely be back!

Staff was wonderful. Only issue would be the bed. It is supposed to be a king size bed but it’s 2 twins pushed together so you have a big dip in the middle of the bed. Lots of good dining options within walking distance

The luxury suites were perfect for our honeymoon. Easy access and lovely beach with reserved beds, water, and fruit every day. The resort was easy to find and good location to downtown and the rest of the island. Biggest downside which we will not stay at the resort next time is there are VERY loud beach club parties every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. It sounded like the DJ was in our room and was playing until 1or 2am making it very hard to sleep. Great resort, just stinks that 3 nights a week you can get very little sleep.

This is located on a man made beach so not as pretty as some of the other beaches but great none the less. Staff was wonderful - there is quite a bit of partying on the beach which is loud on some nights but overall had a great stay and would visit again.

Absolutely stunning property - lush and beautifully maintained. It felt very private and secluded but yet was just steps away from great restaurants, shops and nightlife. Everyone was so warm and welcoming. The room was spotless, the beds super comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

Pretty location but rooms beds lots of renovating. Bathroom has a bad smell. ( like sewer gas) needs proper ventilation. Air conditioning not easily adjustable. Loud music late at night. Service very slow at restaurant. Very inconvenient to walk over to lobby out if way to replace beach towels. Resort should at least provide guests with water bottles every morning They only give 3 small bottles first day.

The manager was not so welcoming we arrived 2 days late due to the weather i had informed them of this issue. The check in told you nothing all they were interested in was taking 200 dollars deposit which will take 20 working days to get back. I thought this was a bit of a scam to earn money. The air con was dripping water in one room and was not mended until the following morning the manager apparently knew about this but did not realise it had not been fixed, very poor not concentrating on the right things. No apology

I’ll start with all of the positives, it is a beautiful and safe resort. I enjoyed the saltwater pools, there were various dining options, and you have access to excursions on the property. Guest services was very polite and helpful. However, the customer service that we received from the receptionists was not pleasant. The rooms were not cleaned on a proper schedule and they do not change bed sheets unless you make multiple requests. I went to the resort with perfectly clear skin and left with bumps on my face and body. We woke up to ants in the bathroom then requested a room change. They allowed us to switch rooms and the manager accommodated my friend and I with one drink voucher… Overall, I had a great trip outside of the living conditions. The resort is beautiful but I can’t say that I would recommend it or stay there again.

Nossa senhora, hotel simplesmente maravilhoso, os quartos lindos, limpos e confortáveis, as piscinas muito gostosas, aconchegantes e limpas, o ambiente de floresta no hotel é maravilhoso, o atendimento desde que chegamos foi sensacional, fomos recebidos com água de coco no coco, parece simples, porém são detalhes que cativam qualquer um, muito lindo o hotel, fica a poucos passos da área mais badalada de Curaçao, a praia de Mambo Beach, com varias áreas na praia para ficar a vontade, fazem parte do hotel, praia linda demais, calma e quentinha, de noite tem todas as baladas para poder curtir, dançar e beber, sinceramente amamos nossas estadias, nossas férias, muito obrigado
