Hotel molto bello, curato e pulitissimo. Immerso nel verde nella parte più incontaminata di Barbados! Lo consiglierei a chi ama la quiete! Perfetto!!!

Very nice, quiet resort. Property grounds were very well kept, rooms were nice, but starting to show a little wear and tear from being so close to the ocean.

Zavier was AMAZING!! Answered all questions and had excellent suggestions for dining etc. It is a very isolated area though with no bars/restaurants around and the roads to the other side of the island are sketchy to say the least If you’re looking for quiet with a beautiful view it’s a great place to stay If you’re looking for dining/nightlife options you should stay on the West Coast

I can't say enough good things about Hotel Santosha and the staff. Everything was exactly as described. It was remote, rural and quiet. We sat on the front porch and heard the waves crashing. We could see the ocean from our room. It was open yet still private. The grounds were so beautiful and simple with green monkeys in the back yard. We sat on the porch and had yogurt and fruit every morning. The room was simple but fit every need. Easy to keep clean, simple but perfect amenities, spacious, open. The staff was concerned when we said we had a car accident. Xavier and Monica called the rental car company for us when our calls wouldn't go through. Our stay was absolutely delightful!

Peaceful
Extremely peaceful and beautiful location. Great place to unwind! Really enjoyed the sound of the waves and trees at night. If you have plans to visit the West Coast frequently, be aware that Santosha is further out, so be prepared to drive!

A little remote but beautiful location, if you really want to be away from all the noise and fast pace of the main city, this is the place for you. Xavier was very attentive, responded fast to any request if I ever go back to Barbados, this will be the place to stay. Thank you.

Exactly as desired, and for us, perfect, including the charming and helpful Xavier. Not for everyone, as it's a bit remote and calls for some gumption as to having one's own things sorted, but perfect for me, and also just what I expected.

Xavier was incredibly helpful and kind to us during our stay. The property felt like a wellness retreat and we loved staying there. Very peaceful and stunning views.

It was a nice secluded hotel with seperate entrances which was more intimate. Only thing i could critize was that the hot tub was broken.

We enjoyed a weekend at Santosha! Our room/apartment was very spacious with a lovely porch which had furniture to eat and sit. The friendly reception person, Xavier, was very attentive to our needs. The views of Walker's beach and the coast from our place were spectacular. We are pleased to have picked Santosha for our staycation while we were long term visitors in Barbados! Please note, having a car is almost a must if you want to see the country from there, or get provisions. Although, Santosha offers food package delivery if you don't have transportation.

Santosha is amazing! The property was surrounded by lush green vegetation on the East Coast of Barbados, allowing for a quiet, relaxing staycation. The staff were very friendly and helpful. A special thank you to the host for the amazing service.

Beautiful views of big waves crashing. The property is on a tropical hill side with wild green monkeys. The rooms are big and nice. I highly recommend this place.

We really enjoyed our stay at Santosha - it was so peaceful and great for exploring the less touristy spots on the island. The facilities in the room were excellent and the pool area was nice. Our only complaint was that there weren't more facilities available on the complex, such as a bar and restaurant.

Good points: beautiful view, nice pool, loved the remote location (quiet, windy, ruggedly beautiful). Hotel itself wasn’t quite what I was expecting- a bit run down, and not greatly cleaned.

Overall outstanding. The larger bedroom suites get a little warmer than the studio apartments. This is due to only having one AC unit in the bedroom

Beautiful and relaxing
I stayed here twice and was satisfied each time. We had a bit of trouble operating the stove and had to call for assistance. The response was prompt. The surroundings were clean, well maintained, staff friendly and the view was breathtaking. I will definitely return when I need another getaway.

Great stay, view, and value! Cozy room!
We absoultely loved it here! The place is magical! Great value! Cozy rorom! Great view! Felt like we had the place to ourselves (other than the stomping above us). Bring your own coffee if you don't like instant! They provided a french press and coffee maker and filters but we could not find decent coffee. Good wine impossible to find also. MAKE RESERVATIONS at local restaurants! There are only a few area resturants and they all require reservations and stop seating early, especially on Saturdays. Roundhouse has music Saturdays from 1-3. If you miss dinner anywhere else, go to De Garage and you will get the basics. I rated Santosha a little lower on service just because no one engaged with us. It was nice to be left alone but for example, our arrival was delayed to a flight so I contacted the hotel. The guy said he would be there until 6. We were later than 6 and I called three times and got VM, then started to wonder what plan B would be. He never said he was going to leave the key. That would have made me feel SO much better! I loved that they had a good asortment of tv channels! Suggestions: I could see this being a great place to have a pop up meals, so if they said to guests, these days we will have a Bajan meal served in the club house it would have been awesome and we would have paid to not have to go into town! I SO appreciated the books provided in the room and lobby. Some board games would have been even better!

Nice hide away
This was a mother daughter trip. We had an amazing time. Things to note if you decide to stay at Santosha. It is a remote location, so great for peace and quiet. I recommend renting a car to get around. We also went to a local grocery store to get breakfast stuff. Nice, clean, comfortable rooms. The only down side to me was the hot tub was not hot.

Depends on what you're looking for
I really wanted to love Santosha. It’s on the east coast, which most people never get to. The photos make it look intriguing and I wanted to be a little adventurous. But I guess I should have done more research, and my expectations would have matched what we found. First, the good stuff. Reception and staff were really nice. Bed was very comfortable. Good wifi. Rooms had nice patio/balcony facing the ocean. General area was quiet. There is a big propane Weber grill available - we used it. If you have a car, you can go to various sites in the interior, and also to Speightstown, about 15 minutes away. Now the downsides. Above all, it is really remote. You’ll need a car; if you don’t have one you are totally stuck. The ocean is much further away than the photos suggest. And anyway it’s totally useless - you can’t swim and there are huge mounds of smelly seaweed everywhere. The pool is tiny, like most pools at Barbados hotels. Photos are distorted - don’t be fooled! Lounge chairs weren’t very comfortable, and neither were the chairs on the patios. In the evenings you’ll get eaten by mosquitos. Even though the rooms looked really nice, they were arranged in a strangely inconvenient way. Dishes were under the counter - no cabinet space above the sink/stove. A small bureau for storage. No comfortable chairs or loveseat in the rooms. Bottom line - if you need a crash pad after you spend all day exploring, it’s perfect. If you want a Caribbean beach experience, this isn’t it.
