“Such a delight to find a Portobello hotel in Worthing as the Westow House in Crystal Palace has become a favourite. The Railway lives up to the Portobello standard. Great rooms with individual character. Exceptionally clean and well maintained. Great bar and extensive outside area. Staff are extremely welcoming and friendly especially Riley and Lewis. And £5 off a beer for registering for the Portobello pub club - doesn’t get any better”

“Not far from the railway station (a nice 15 minute walk), and the pedestrian area ( 5 minutes) very kind and always available staff. They assigned me a doble room even though i was alone. Right below the hotel there is the stop for the 700 bus with wich i went to Brighton. I would happily return to this hotel.”

“This hotel has definately gone down since it was taken over. Our evening meal was a ready meal cottage pie nothing home cooked. Price for this was not cheap neither were the bar drinks which we drank in semi-gloom as they did not seem to want to put the lights on! Family running it were friendly enough but I would not stay there again.”
