“We had the most amazing stay in Villa Barracuda. There were 16 of us staying there the week of my wedding and the setting of Villa Barracuda made our week even more special. The house has everything you could need and more and it exceeds the photographs. Although there were 16 of us we never felt cramped. The rooftop infinity pool was a particular highlight. Amanda was a fantastic host. We will definitely be back!”

“Sara is a great house. So much bigger than it looks on the pictures. After touring the island of Gozo, it is in probably the bes location. Munxar is a lovely town and the supermarket is 3 min walk away and has everything you could ask for. The pool was a little cold, but we visited in Autumn. I am sure in the summer heat the pool feels like bliss. The kids (aged 3 and 5) loved it. Great house for families with plenty of space and everything you need. Highly recommend!”

“Villa was lovely, very clean with lots of quirky bits to it. Lots of winding steps to bedrooms so not good if you have mobility issues. Only downside was only a small amount of sun by pool (possibly because we went in September) it may be different in earlier months. Although lots of sun on upper terrace, it was nice to have an outdoor shower so easy to cool off. Unfortunately while we were there a lot of dog barking from nearby which was frustrating at times. “The Villa was lovely, spacious, clean and the 6 of us had all we wanted, bedrooms and bathrooms each, even an extra bathroom. The pool was great too, real suntrap. We used the local bars and restaurants, all good, particularly D-Bar and Ta-Vestru. The little supermarket behind the church was great, an Alladins Cave! “The apartment was nice and clean, perfect suitable for 4 persons. Kitchen is fully equipped, towels and even sun hats were available. Pool and outside area was clean and as shown on description. Good view over Mellieha with little spot of the sea. Location is in calm small street with supermarket, restaurants, and bars in walking distance. Ray is a very kind and courteous landlord, who provided us with some hints for beaches and sightseeing.”

“Our host Melita was wonderful to deal with. Attentive and helpful, Melita was informative about her home country, responded quickly to our needs, but also respectful of our privacy. What a lovely lady and great host - we would stay there again ! It's also within walking distance to a handy grocery store and lots of great restaurants. The pool area is quite special and as the other 2 units were unoccupied, we had the whole area to ourselves - this is where we enjoyed our Mediterranean breakfast...

“Place clean and basic however pool is in the shade most of the morning. There was a lot of construction work going which started at 7:30 went on through the day. Layout was strange but made the the most of our stay”

“Das Haus liegt ruhig in einer Sackgasse mit Parkmöglichkeiten. Wir waren mit 8 Erwachsenen und 1 Kind über Silvester dort. Es gibt für jeden Raum eine Klimaanlage (auch zum Heizen), deren Strom zentral über einen Automat im EG bezahlt werden muss. Insgesamt war es ein tolles Haus mit großem Wohn-/Esszimmer und angeschlossener Küche. Leider ist die Ausstattung schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen - besonders auch die Liegen und der Grill draußen.
