“Spacious beautiful room, clean and very comfortable! Will return.”

“No wifi available, which was very disappointing. The gas heater turned off regularly (every 15 mins or so) and had to turned on again so the room was not continually cosy and warm. There was a reverse cycle air conditioner but that was not sufficient to heat the room for Winter temperatures. There was very little reception for the TV so not all channels were available. The room itself was nice and big and set out well but definitely needed some maintenance, particularly to the front door and...

“Convenient location, wonderful staff, clean, however the bed was a bit hard, and the tv was a long way from the bed.”

“Great place and super clean! Location is great and super close to a good pub and an IGA. Staff was super friendly and very accommodating to our needs! Only two nickpicks are that the TV is too far away from the sofa and the bed was too soft for me (but that's just personal preference).”

Pillows and beds are super old and uncomfortable. The photos make it look way nicer than it is. Everything is so run down. It needs some serious love and care.”

“We really appreciated the clean comfortable room, friendly staff, daily room servicing, happy hour and included buffet breakfast. While we didn't dine in the restaurant- dinner menu looked great. The staff always greeted us with a smile. The hotel was a fantastic base for our exploration of the Ballarat region. We will recommend this hotel to others considering staying in Ballarat.”

“Lovely old world hotel, very very well maintained. We loved it. Staff were very friendly.”

“Easy check in, comfy bed, clean room (with the exception of the bathroom). Cleaners need to focus on the shower as that was not very clean at all. Will be sending photos. Breakfast buffet was ok, not worth $35 per head. Would be great if they kept up with the demand as we had to keep going to check if they had refilled some items. Ie: no eggs. Other than that we’re happy with our stay.”

“This is a basic motel in a great location. It’s clean and comfortable if you are just looking for a bed to stay the night. We have stayed here a few times now.”

“Great stay for a family of five in older style motel setting. Clean and comfortable and close to town. Heating worked a treat and we appreciated the electric blankets, spare blankets and pillows. For a budget family stay in Daylesford it does the job perfectly.”
