Clearly once a grand hotel, it still has a lot of charm but some parts are a little tired. My lower ground floor room had no heating switched on, even the electric heated towel rail was disconnected. Comfy bed and fine staff, a peaceful and safe location. Would stay again.

At 7am hotel staff were being so noisy we had to call reception to ask them to ask them to be quiet. Then at 8am house keeping were knocking on our door despite us having the do not disturb sign up. Hotel feels very old fashioned, run down and tired.
