“The staff was very friendly and helpful. The property itself is beautiful right on the lake. It’s absolutely beautiful. However, the rooms left a lot to be desired. The room was outdated. Didn’t have one hook in the bathroom to hang anything on no sink area or vanity for you to get ready in the bathroom. It had a weird sliding door that didn’t have an actual door knob or handle. It was like a piece of metal that ran odd and if you shut it all the way it would catch, and you would be locked in...

“This is a wonderful little hotel. The staff were nice and super helpful, including giving sightseeing recommendations. The breakfast was delicious. And the room was clean and neat. A plus was that the shower head was able to adjust the flow of water depending on your preference.”

“The bathroom had damages. The walls were scratched and had holes in the paint. The shower floor was very slippery and I was afraid I was going to fall. The bathroom floor was also slippery when wet. The step into the room from the outside was too high and I actually fell, which required the fire service to come and help me get up.”

“Last minute booking here for us- it is a home in a residential area that has been converted into a “ hostel” type accommodation. There is a restaurant downstairs and it is very close to downtown so the location was great. The property manager was helpful and kind. The only negative thing about the property is I would assume because the building was built in 1908 the plumbing is old so there is an odd sewage smell that comes and goes.
