“Wonderful clean comfortable room. However, toilet too low and no handicap bar, dangerous for me as i had had knee replacement. Tub way too low as well.”

“Wow! This is Newmarket, right? We stayed there for Valentine's. Welcoming from the second we entered the lobby. Professional, friendly staff and a lobby bar that felt like we were transported back to the 50s. Exceptional service at every interaction. Even the guy mopping the floor greeted me and warned of the wet floor. Our room was wonderfully appointed. We had breakfast at the Overlea. A nice view overlooking downtown Newmarket. And great food. “The room was very nice, fresh and clean. Our only challenge was with managing the temperature. The room was far too warm for sleeping, but still worth a 5-star rating. Also, the staff were very friendly, and the hotel is very nice.”

“Honestly it's a basic 2 star hotel but if you're looking for a clean, comfortable place to stay in Barrie with a good breakfast; this meets those needs. The breakfast is good but gets busy early. We were downstairs by 7:10am because it was family day weekend and we knew it would be busy. There was a huge line as we were leaving at 9:15am. ”
