CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE. STAROPRAMEN ON TAP (MY FAVOURITE) AND GOOD SELECTION OF WHISKEY. LOTS OF TAKE AWAY RESTAURANTS AND PUBS CLOSE BY.”

“Had read good reviews of this hotel, so decided to book and it was great. Was only here 1 night, but would definitely stay again. Bedroom & bathroom clean and comfortable and a nice comfy bed too. Dinner was great as was breakfast next morning. Staff all friendly, welcoming and helpful. Easy parking either in dedicated patron’s car park or on street. Great location for exploring the area and Castle Douglas itself is a nice town with lots of independent businesses and plenty cafes, delis...

Really useful having the car park at the back for our motorcycles, out of sight and under cameras. 15 minute walk in to town. Dumfries is a great base for exploring the area, highly recommended, we will be back!”
