“We had a lovely one night stay. We were warmly greeted and our room was spacious, up quite a few stairs so beware if you have heavy cases. We enjoyed a swim in the pool and used the hot tub. A well equipped gym was also available. The pool was very clean and a pleasant temperature. These facilities were all included in the room price but there is a limited timetable when you can use the pool due to lesson and member sessions. We ate dinner at the hotel which was very tasty and well presented....

“We spent a one night stay at Armathwaite Hall Hotel and immediately wished it was for longer...The reception staff were exceptionally welcoming, indeed all staff were friendly and helpful. Fortunately, the Lake View resturant was open for dinner during our stay; the food was delightful, well presented and perfectly proportioned.
