“On getting to our room we found someone was already in there, so had to take some extra time returning to Reception only to find our room had been accidentally given away. This was fairly easily amended, with us being given a different room instead but without a balcony. We could’ve done without spending the time sorting this out especially lugging our bags and children around in the process. “Stayed 18th April, four of us girls, and it was just the perfect place after a full day hiking.
The room was spacious, clean, and had nice little touches, biscuits, water, milk, which made a difference. Beds were really comfy, exactly what you need after a long walk.
The spa was spot on, swim, sauna, jacuzzi, just what we needed to relax.
Great value as all four of us could stay in one room, which made it more fun and easy.
Staff couldn’t do enough for us, really welcoming and helpful...

“All staff were very friendly and extremely helpful, made us feel very relaxed during our stay. The breakfast here was absolutely fabulous with everything there that it stated was there. We also had an afternoon tea booked for after our small wedding and this was excellent and so was the lovely Maria who served our champagne and made sure we had everything we needed. “This is the 2nd time we have stayed at Amthweight Hall, the accommodation was excellent, as was the staff, they couldn't do enough for you.
The breakfast was 10 out of 10, and again, very helpful, as my wife wanted her coffee a paticular temperature, and strength, they bent over backwards to make her perfect cup of coffee !!
The grounds and the building, are kept immaculate.
