Hotel a Gargatha

“Hotel needs to be renovated, rooms were not cleaned properly. Dirt and hair behind the bathroom door. A old headband was at the headboard on the floor. And during the night, the a/c would turn hot. Staff was nice. Parking was good”

“Hotel was amazing very clean, staff was nice. Only complaint is that the air conditioning wasn’t working properly. I called down to front desk for someone to come check it out and no one ever came. It was very hot out so coming in from a long day at the beach and being outside to no AC was disappointing. Funny thing is it started working properly an hour before checkout. Overall it was good”

“We had a great overnight stay after the Crab & Cruise. The room was clean and nice-sized, the bed was super comfortable, and it was quiet. The only issue I had was that I wish there was an iron in the room and that we were told at check in that we would have to sign it out at the front desk. Otherwise, EXCELLENT stay!!”

“No staff on site to check us in. An envelope with instructions was left for us in the lobby (main door unlocked at ALL times). Found the room unlocked with the key hanging on the wall inside. The whole check in process is a security concern. The web site says free self-parking. There is street parking in front but limited to 3 hours. We called the management number. An operator answering the call tried to connect us to the management but got no answer. We left a message but never got a call or...

““Queen” beds were more like doubles. Iron was full of rust sludge. Room smelled like a mix of bug spray and mold Staff was friendly and helpful”

“A brief stop on our travels. We had a nice walk around town and a comfortable room. We left before the 8 am breakfast so can’t comment on that. ”

“I DO NOT recommend anyone stay at this establishment. When I returned for the day and turned on the lights roaches scattered across the floor. Roaches were even in the bed. I left and they would not give a refund for the nights I paid for.”

“Overall very enjoyable stay! Very kind and helpful employees with the front desk, breakfast, and cleaning. We had a king room, which had a good view of the bay on the balcony (pictured, unfortunately weather was cloudy the weekend so didn’t get good sunsets though plenty of potential for beautiful ones on a clear day). “swim pool is the highlight”

“The room was clean at first look. But the air conditioner vent was dirty (I cleaned it) and there were cobwebs above the curtain, but that was it. There was a busted floor tile and they glued it down, there was also a threshold thing that was sticking up that I scraped my foot on (didn't cut me). Pool was very nice, just aged.”
