“My first time staying at this hotel and everything went perfect from my room to the pool and the breakfast and its not to far from the beach. I would be returning.”

“Clean room. Plenty of soft clean towels. Comfortable bed. No in room coffee or hair dryer. Good value for the price.”

“Terrible couldn't sleep. Dog next door barking all night. Guy puts dog outside it's growling at my door couldn't get out of fly infested room staff seeing all this no help”

“The refuge lives up to its name; a quiet cozy spot to retreat and recharge. We loved the ponies, big shady trees, and proximity to Assateague. Our room was comfortable and clean; we had a mini fridge and a dehumidifier (critical in this region). I can’t remember the last time I stayed in a hotel with daily housekeeping and where everything simply worked.”

“Hotel was amazing very clean, staff was nice. Only complaint is that the air conditioning wasn’t working properly. I called down to front desk for someone to come check it out and no one ever came. It was very hot out so coming in from a long day at the beach and being outside to no AC was disappointing. Funny thing is it started working properly an hour before checkout. Overall it was good”

“A brief stop on our travels. We had a nice walk around town and a comfortable room. We left before the 8 am breakfast so can’t comment on that. ”

“We just returned form an overnight stay, and we were so impressed! Super clean and spacious room, comfortable bed. We were there for the fireworks and couldn't ask for a better spot to view! The Patel family ( the owners) were so gracious and welcoming! They were hosting a family event and invited us to join. We are planning our trip back for next year! Highly recommend!”

“No staff on site to check us in. An envelope with instructions was left for us in the lobby (main door unlocked at ALL times). Found the room unlocked with the key hanging on the wall inside. The whole check in process is a security concern. The web site says free self-parking. There is street parking in front but limited to 3 hours. We called the management number. An operator answering the call tried to connect us to the management but got no answer. We left a message but never got a call or...

“When going to use the bathroom, the toilet had a leak and shower had hair”

“only one complaint that the carpet was quite sticky. Other than that, wonderful location, great fishing and crabbing pier, very friendly staffs, nice swimming pool, veryclose to all locations. We really loved it.!”

“I DO NOT recommend anyone stay at this establishment. When I returned for the day and turned on the lights roaches scattered across the floor. Roaches were even in the bed. I left and they would not give a refund for the nights I paid for.”

“Spark is very close to the wildlife refuge. Walking distance to Blackfin and McDonald's. Our stay was comfortable and we'd stay here again.”
