Hotel a Hico

“Guy was super rude and didn’t give me my room I reserved a week prior because he didn’t want to clean the room!”

“Employees made our three day's feel uncomfortable and very unwelcomed. Day and night staff are very rude. Over half the time both room keys didnt work. My son had a seizure the first night there. The hotel had no wheelchair to take him out on and the female employee had no care and just went and sat down. I have to move him from the second floor on the luggage cart :( I will Never stay at this place again!!!!!”

“We stayed for two nights on a family vacation and the location was great. The rooms were perfect and the beds very comfortable… Staff was very helpful and the kids really enjoyed the pool. The breakfast was substantial in the mornings as well! Would definitely stay again and highly recommend!”

“I stopped by with a motorbike on the way to the three sisters. Not bad at all. The rooms are clean and spacious and a good breakfast was included. The extra nice are the people managing it. Very friendly and helpful. ”

“We checked in and immediately adjusted the temperature in the room and set out on our excursion. We returned a couple hours later and the temperature was about the same. We lowered the temperature again and headed to the pool. While at the pool we discovered the restroom was very unclean! I sent a text message as requested and the response was questions. Did the toilet overflow? What happened? I didn’t know what happened. I was simply reporting an issue I discovered. Again met with questions....

“I was only needing the room for about 8 hours because I was driving in from Houston for Orientation for my young one so we didn't get in until 1:30 am . The air was but it smelled of old cigarette smoke, the toilet seat was broken, the shower head was broken and there were dead beetle all over the floor and a spider in the ceiling and I actually paid $90 for 7 hours for this crap!”

“This place is truly a hidden gem in the Texas countryside. We booked our stay based on the photos and reviews, but neither came close to capturing how beautiful and relaxing it is in person. From the moment we arrived, every staff member we encountered was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. “Rooms were clean, however overall maintenance of the property was very poor. Our rooms AC was cooling but not dehumidifying so room always felt wet. Also back door to property never locked leaving security concerns. Last during breakfast one staff member cleared out all prepared breakfast sandwiches and some other items and took them to someone in a car outside.”
