“If you don’t book direct with the property and find out what cabin you are staying in, you better call ahead. Showing up after 6pm could leave you wandering trying to negotiate an undocumented process of finding out where you are supposed to stay”

“It was very clean and beautiful and quiet. No other guests when we stayed. The bar tender was very kind and sweet. The only real dock on rating for us is that the food was hit or miss for the price and there were two locals in the bar at dinner that were super annoying and made our dinner experience very uncomfortable. ”

“This was an excellent option for an overnight stop. No frills and a little run down, but the beds were comfy and AC cold! Suited our needs and fairly priced. ”

“The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. Pillows were a little uncomfortable. The air conditioner worked well. The bathroom was clean. ”

“Maintenance on the rooms is horrible. The bathtub faucet was heavy dripping and by the next day was a steady stream despite being tightly closed. The sink was clogged resulting in slow drainage. The lamp next to the bed had lost it's turn on/off switch so was useless. The shower tiles grout was blackened. On the positives, the desk staff and breakfast staff were very nice.”

“Our stay was short but enjoyable. We booked two rooms and had an issue with one. There were dried dead bugs under the air conditioner and live crawling, large water bugs in the room. The air conditioner didn’t work. The other room was great. With that being said, the staff are amazing!!! We did address the issues and the staff was more than willing to correct the issues. Thank you the the staff at the hotel for the personable interaction and willingness to accommodate. We will return.”

“The property is too high for what you get and I added a day for my husband so he could go home earlier and they still wouldn’t give the last day money back Expedia tried to help but they couldn’t do anything eastland Texas has a really nice property”

“Everything was clean enough except for dusty coffee pot. Problem with tv and remote, 3 people worked on it a different times for about an hour, finally the 16 year old son figured it out. Very apologetic for the delay. I think the room should have been a lower price for the accommodations. ”
