“What a find! I needed to stay 1 night before boarding a cruise. All the other hotels were very expensive. All the reviews for this hotel were good so I booked it and I'm glad I did. It is inside a hospital but you would never know it. It's a 15 minute taxi ride from the airport. I was traveling solo and a bit nervous but the entrance had a security gate due to the hospital. “Very warm and welcoming staff-allowed us to stow our bags prior to check in. Room was clean and bright-lovely view of the street through huge windows. Hotel is undergoing renovations but it did not interrupt services. Thoughtful room amenities-coffee machine is perfect. Location is great-walkable to all parts of Old San Juan and located amongst shops and restaurants. Will stay again!”

“It's bad. If you just need a place to stay for the night, it's passable if you don't mind motel 6 level service and amenities. If this is your vacation destination, go somewhere else. Waited two hours for a room past check-in. All kinds of hidden fee threats, credit card holds, and general BS. Carpets are ruined, room smells like a root cellar, no coffee, no coffee filters, no anything. No beach towels were available, no inner sheet on the bed, just a thin blanket. By thin, I mean my socks...
