“This place is so amazing. The cabins are adorable, and you have a sort of "yard" immediately around them. We stayed in the cabin called "the seagull" and it was wonderful. Extremely clean, very cozy, loved the layout: 2 bedrooms each with their own doors to the inside of the cabin and to outside balconies. Plus a futon in the living room area. We were able to put our baby down to bed in the back room and then the other 3 young kids and us parents could still watch tv and chit chat on the other...

“While we didn't think this would be like a room at the Holiday Inn, we weren't prepared for the cute little room we got. The rooms are what used to be a RR station and have been upfitted with enough modern conveniences that you won't be disappointed - surprised, but not disappointed. Our room (and I assume the others are like this) was filled with gadgets, devices, and appliances that were vintage for the time the RR was operating and stopped there (think early 1900's). “It appears that the composite flooring in the room was recently installed but needed to be ..mopped. Water dripped from our cooler which was wiped up with a cloth indicated a very dirty floor. Too, walking with slippers also indicated a very dirty floor. Wall and beds looked very clean. Pillows were hard and flat. “The property was old and definitely in need of repair. Towels provided were gray and rough on the skin. Bed was comfortable and television worked well. The price was right for shag one receives.”
