“This stay was very good. The staff was very nice and helpful. We swam in the pool every day and it was a good temperature and clean. The breakfast was good and always being refilled with fresh food. If I had two things to say it would be that the breakfast was always the same thing. It would be nice if they change it up a little but I guess this probably does not matter for most people who are only staying the one night. “We stayed here overnight for 4th weekend. The property was very clean, staff was kind and welcoming. We have a dog and there are two places for restroom with doggie bags and a trash can! They even give you a door tag to let the cleaners know you have a dog. We also got welcome and departure water bottles, which was amazing after and before a day of travel. “This is one of the few chain hotels close to Nauvoo. After checking in, I decided I would’ve rather driven 3 hours south to get to St. Louis than stay close to Nauvoo at this hotel. It didn’t feel clean. It smelled of bleach and random fragrant smells that differed between rooms. The breakfast looked gross. There was pubic hair all over the floor in the bathroom.
