“The place was awesome. Super chill environment. You don’t even know the other neighborhoods exist. The cabins have a really neat Scandinavian style. They thought of everything like fire wood, fire starters, s’mores kits, pour over coffee, hot chocolate and a big roll of tin foil so you can cook over the fire. Would definitely stay here again. ”

“My room had a large balcony that overlooked a courtyard where there was a large outdoor fireplace and had partial view of pool. i did not eat at the restaurant but it had a solid, varied menu and seemed reasonably priced”

“Check in was friendly and welcoming. The hotel was clean and quiet. It was convenient to OU for our daughter’s move in to campus. The area felt safe. It’s not plush but it was a great and reasonable option for us. Breakfast was offered daily. It’s not gourmet but met our needs for a quick bite to get the day started. We’d stay again and likely will. ”

“I thought the beach theme was a bit strange for the area but, it works! It was clean and staff was great! My only issue was the water quality. It tasted like pool water. Since people are likely going on hikes or some long all day activities, its a good idea to have a water cooler for the guests. Until then, byo water. Would definitely stay again! Highly recommend this hotel.”

“I liked it was staff-less. The owner responded to all our questions right away. The room was beautiful and a very comfortable bed! The local restaurant 58West had homemade wine and beer, the steaks were great and the $$$ was perfect. Good breakfast at the Hocking Hills Diner. Many other food options you can walk to. ”

“First time really staying in the area was going to stay at a hotel cuz it's cheaper than the cabins in the area The staff was very friendly very helpful The place is very clean the breakfast is wonderful it changes day-to-day what they serve but always have a waffle station cereal yogurt didn't see any body really messing around the property at night so felt safe for my vehicle”
