“This is a quaint place off The beaten path owner and staff are very friendly and helpful. The chef is great. The grounds are beautiful lots of fruit trees very close to Loterie Farm and Grand Caste. About a 15 minute ride from the Dutch side. ”

“We could NOT find the property that evening. We went back during the day and there is no visible number or name on the building. We took a picture after some of the locals tried to help us. It ended up being the building with the guys sitting on the steps hanging out. They did not even know that was building #7. This appears to be a scam! We would not enter that building during the day and definitely not on an evening check in.”

“Had a delightful one-night stay at Tiko Lodge SXM a hidden gem away from the resort chaos. The peaceful ambiance, cleanliness, and warm hospitality of the hosts were impressive. The distant yet very close ocean sounds and fresh air created a serene atmosphere. Although I usually opt for big resorts, Tiko Lodge SXM has changed my perspective. I plan to return, hopefully for an extended stay. Only drawback: no TV in the room, hence the four-star rating.~~ Monet”

“Very close to Mullet Bay. Also close to a bakery/coffee shop and a grocery store. Very safe area. Very private. Not good parking if you rent a large vehicle. Small sedan or 2-door is good though. Overall a nice place.”

Our host Chris exceeded all of our expectations, and the staff was very friendly and attentive to our needs. The beach is beautiful and we had it to ourselves most days. A car is recommended to see the island and facilitate provisioning and adventuring. House is secluded away from the hustle and bustle of the port.
