“Unfortunately, this villa did not match the condition shown in the listing. During our weeklong stay, we saw multiple cockroaches in several areas. Guests repeatedly saw roaches coming from the drain in their room and became so uncomfortable that they stopped using it and shared another bedroom. The laundry/washroom below the house was in very poor condition and had the largest concentration of roaches.I understand this is the Caribbean and insect activity can be higher during certain seasons,...

“I know there is nothing the hosts can do about the excessive amount of seaweed in the water during our stay. They did reach out and warn us that tends to happen this time of year. I only wish they had told us about this prior to us booking. It really made it impossisble to use the beach and the odor was a bit rough. We enjoyed other beaches on the island though.Other than that...it was a beautiful home, well equipped and a lovely spot for our family.”

“I can't say enough about our stay at the Villa Luminary. It is a beautiful property, well set up for a group of 10 or so. There is a property attendant on site (separate space - we never saw him unless we requested something) who is very responsive. The host was also available by text anytime there was a question. The location and amenities are great, e.g. short walk to the beach which we did almost daily with kids, but the service and attention are the hallmarks of this space. We would go back...

My 18 year old grandson dove for 5 days, got an advanced certification and had a great adventure seeing sharks and rays up close. Our favorite French restaurant is La Cigale near the gas station. “Bob is the perfect host and we enjoyed his property. My girls enjoyed walking out on the back deck into the pool everyday. Lots going on in the Maho beach area which is a short walk away. We enjoyed beaches all over the island and Anguilla which was a short boat trip. Watch out for those planes landing overhead on your trip to/from and watching Bob perform on Friday night at The Hole in the Wall bar was a blast. Great location and he has everything there from beach towels to chairs to noodles....

“This house was amazing. Exactly what we expected. Our group of 11, ranging from 5 years old to 77 years old had a wonderful time. From the very beginning, communication with Gabi was fantastic. She never hesitated to answer my questions and was extremely helpful with anything I may have asked not related to the home (such as the best beach for young kids). If you are on the fence about renting this property, don't be, you will not regret it!”
