Hotel a Pocono Pines

“They need to update the rooms. The bathroom needs to be painted and the door didnt lock. The ceiling looks like it will come down. There is chipped paint all over the property. The carpeting needs to be replaced. It looks like its been at least 30 or 40 years since the place has been renovated. The location is excellent and its near the water. Great views, but the property needs a major renovation and decorating.”

“The AC/Heater worked perfectly. Room was clean. Amenities, just enough Pleasant staff/front desk Price reasonable Safety - Lots of lights I spent only one night (twice); my overview during the quick exhausted night was really short. Yes, I recommend it if the stay is for a short period of time. The smokers stay too close to the entrances/back doors. I noticed the laundry room looking unclean made me wonder about materials washed... Believe it or not I would return again because of the price.”

“The hotel looks more like a motel. There are people living there, and as soon as you arrive it smells strongly like cigarettes and marijuana. You can call and call, and no one answers. The room itself is clean, but it still smells a lot like marijuana. The jacuzzi’s water handle is broken, so you can’t turn the water on properly. The only good thing is pets friendly and it’s free ”

“Despite the lobby and ground floor being renovated, the rest of the hotel was nicely, updated, including the rooms and lounge area for breakfast. The complementary breakfast was excellent, especially on the weekend. And despite a holiday, there was plenty of staff and their service was attentive and friendly. The hotel location in the middle of downtown is excellent providing lots of food, bars, and shopping nearby. There is also plenty of entertainment in downtown. This is a great old hotel...
