Hotel a Puriton

“The room we stayed in needs a bit of tlc (mainly in the bathroom), however in terms of the size of the room generally it was decent enough and clean (don't think we could have done more than one night) The restaurant has a good variety of food and drinks (dinner / lunch) and the app is useful for ordering. Breakfast was ok at best. Seem to have few staff working and the cooked breakfast was a bit hit and miss. They could probably do with refreshing the continental breakfast bar menu as there...

“When I came into the hotel and was given my room key, the first thing I noticed was the smell of dampness in the room. The carpet had burned marks all over it and stains and in places was missing carpet and built bar floor. The wallpaper was torn off the walls. The room was filthy dirty had not been cleaned and full of dust and dirt smoked disgusting so did the toilet and shower. Molto caldo, vista l'assenza dell'aria condizionata (ma in reception era possibile chiedere dei ventilatori). Colazione dolce già pronta o salata preparata sul momento dietro ordinazione. “Great staff, clean and tidy room, good location with easy car parking. Great food including very good options for my coeliac wife. This is a quaint more traditional style of hotel with it seemed like only six rooms. You still get a room key attached to a fob rather than the key cards you tend to get nowadays and the flooring is a little sloped in places all adding to the charm. We had just a one night stop over but would be happy to return.”
