“What stood out??? Well, for one, it was the staff. They welcomed me and gave me a lovely room. I had a table booked for 10 of my family, and the food was excellent. The wine was superb too, and I asked for a favour, which they delivered. This is one of my favourite hotels in the UK and will be my go-to whenever I go to Somerset to see my family. The only downside is the parking, but that is minuscule compared to the service I received from The Ancient Gatehouse. Well done all. ”

“Perfetto. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Ampio parcheggio. Camera smart. E’ tutto realizzato per sfruttare bene gli spazi. Arredo intelligente anche in bagno: aprendo la porta verso l’interno si creano due ambienti, la zona WC e la zona lavandino. Letti comodi, pulizia ottima, comodo secondo specchio di 2 metri nella camera da letto vicino agli attaccapanni. Aria condizionata perfettamente funzionante e silenziosa. La colazione offre ampia scelta e i prodotti sono buoni, la sala moderna, ottimo...

We stayed in the Langford Room which was amazing, lovely a clean, nice little things like the cookies and a welcome personalised note. Miles was excellent, spent time chatting with us and telling us about the area and where to go. Would highly recommend and will definately be back ”
