Hotel storici in Somerset

“Purtroppo ci è stata fornita una stanza senza bagno in camera senza che ciò fosse segnalato nella prenotazione. La stanza era caldissima ed una delle due finestre era bloccata. Nella camera correvano tubi bollenti che facevano da termosifone. Alle rimostranze di mia moglie alla cameriera l’unica risposta è stata: lo sappiamo (!). Ho chiesto del direttore il quale nonostante il mio stentato inglese si è guardato bene dal dirmi che era italiano. È venuto nella stanza e non ha potuto che...

“È un locale tipico e caratteristico. Non adatto per chi non ama il rumore (è anche un pub e quindi c'è musica la sera fino a tardi). Bellissima però la vista sul mare! Per contro le camere sono piccole e poco pulite. Il bagno è minuscolo e si fa fatica a lavarsi.”
