“Property had all the space and facilities needed in a lovely setting with many birds and various wildlife. We were wishing we could have stayed there longer.”

“There is nothing to fault. The property is modern, spotlessly clean and well furnished to a high standard, with excellent views. There are some very pleasant small details on arrival (a loaf of bread, cake, butter, milk, tea, coffee and a selection of biscuits and jams). Paul and Jill are delightful and amusing hosts, who went out of their way to make our stay memorable. We will definitely return when we are next in the area.”

“We had a wonderful time staying at this beautiful house for a friends reunion. The house is charming, comfortable, with great communal areas and cosy bedrooms. It’s well placed near a train station, and a great walk. We loved the fireplace and the hot tub which created a great atmosphere and kept us warm in winter.”

“We stayed for two nights for our annual visit to Longleat, which is only about 15 minutes drive away The house was in perfect condition and very old and rickety yet full of high-quality modern appliances It was a very relaxing and enjoyable short stay. I would recommend it to anybody.”

“The apartment was even nicer than the photos. Robin and Wendy were both wonderful hosts and helped with recommendations and questions. Terrific hosts. Finding the train station was just a five minute walk was a very nice bonus.”

“I booked this property for my Sister’s hen-do and it was just the most perfect property!! The house was extremely well stocked with glasses and crockery. The dining room was amazing, creating such a special experience for a formal dinner. The gardens were beautiful as well! The host, Patricia, was extremely helpful and responsive - I really felt like she wanted to ensure we had the best experience, which we did!! Could not recommend this property more.”

“The property was very well equipped & in a lovely position on the site. It was very peaceful. The couple of queries we had were immediately resolved by the reception staff. If I was pushed to have a slight negative comment it would be that there were no instruction booklets for the kitchen appliances. ”

“We really enjoyed our short stay at the Carthouse. It's a lovely property in Axbridge, with Cheddar Gorge within easy reach. Communication with Val was excellent and also waited on the side of the road to show us the entrance to the side road. The Carthouse was spotlessly clean and Val had left several thoughtful items to get us started including bread, milk, wine and cider! Thank you Val, it was much appreciated. We'd have no hesitation in recommending this lovely property.”

"La camera spaziosa e confortevole, personale alla reception gentile. Di fronte all'attrazione Wookey Hole Caves. Il parcheggio dell'auto, in comune con quello dell'attrazione, è gratis per chi alloggia nella struttura. "

"Tutto stupendo: Siamo state accolte da personale super gentile che ha reso la permanenza un vero piacere. La colazione ottima, con una buona varietà e una qualità dei prodotti ottima. La camera ampia e curata nei dettagli, con acqua, bibite, tisane e snack a disposizione. Il bagno davvero grande, con vasca e doccia separate e tutti gli accessori di cui si può aver bisogno. Molto comodo anche il parcheggio incluso nel prezzo. Che dire davvero un soggiorno stupendo!! Unica cosa che aggiungerei sono le ciabattine di cortesia in camera. "

"Hotel a pochi metri dalla spiaggia e in zona centralissima. Camera molto pulita, colazione completa. Ha un pub/ristorante interno. Unico neo è la connessione wifi che non avevo in camera e che per chi ha pochi gb rimasti e/o deve lavorare può essere un problema. Ad ogni modo, per me sono importanti la pulizia e la comodità e sono rimasta molto soddisfatta. "
