“My sister and I spent just a couple of nights here and truly fell in love with the house and staff. Every interaction was easy and kind, the house was incredibly well kept, and the grounds were gorgeous. It's located a bit out of the way which is perfect for minimizing crowds and noise! Our room was perfectly sized and the bed/bedding comfortable. All in all, a 10/10. Highly recommend to anyone in any stage of life.”

We ate breakfast in the hotel everyday which was delicious & there was a fantastic choice of different dishes. The staff were all super friendly & helpful & the hotel is located near to all the restaurants, bars & shops in the area.

The spa is ideal after a busy day out to unwind in.
Cosy small double room was also modern and comfy, and a good size.
Complimentary Elemis toiletries in bathroom too.

We had a small issue which was sorted very quickly and this was down to the efficiency of all the team. Jack in particular was professional, polite and is a credit to the hotel. Thank you.”

“Beautiful location, views are stunning on the outside terrace, rooms are lovely whilst small has all you need although would suggest a mirror on the dressing table. Breakfast was lovely, drinks very reasonably priced with a good selection and lovely welcoming staff. ”

“I stayed at the Hillthwaite at the end of my tour of Scotland. The luxury feel was throughout the hotel. The room was small but very comfortable and perfect for my needs. The staff - particularly the dinner and breakfast waiting staff - were amazing. The whole place was very well run. The view from the dinning room was breathtaking too. ”
