“This was our second stay at High Bield, and it was brilliant once again.The location is second to none, and the views were as superb as ever.You need to be able to stomach a tight lane to get to the place, but once you’re there you will be more than happy.The place is extremely well equipped and very very homely.We shall be back again!”

“The property was lovely, and clean. A great location with good amenities. One of the bedrooms is on the ground floor which was a bit tricky for us staying with young kids and not mentioned in the information, and the on street parking availability on the street mentioned nearby was really limited, but we travelled on a very busy school holiday weekend. “The home was perfect for what we were looking for, which was just a home base to relax in and visit with family in the area. It has easy access to the rail station, grocery store, and downtown shopping and dining. The kitchen supplies were basic, but enough to put together some simple meals after a trip to the grocery store. The beds were very comfortable. There is a bit of traffic noise, but that’s really only because we were there in August and needed to open windows. We would stay again...

“Great stay. Just as advertised. Great hosts. ”

“Fantastic House. The pictures did not do it justice. It was way bigger than I was expecting. We had a family reunion with 17 adults and three children. There was plenty of room and different places for people to go to be alone if they wanted. The kids loved the games room and had so much fun. Would highly recommend it and we will definitely be visiting again.”

“Booked this via VRBO and was forwarded to Hereward Cottages. Upon booking we were under the impression we had 4 bedrooms to use as we pleased - however, we were told (pretty rudely via email) the 4th bedroom was only suitable for children (even though the beds would have easily held a fully grown adult on the bottom bunk). We'd also booked two dogs but didn't check this at time of booking, again, being told pretty rudely 'they would have to check' this was ok (it was btw!).All in all the actual...
