“ Had an amazing stay. Hotel,spa and grounds so lovely! Super, lovely garden room with views towards the lake!The staff here really do go above and beyond! Loved the spa with fantastic staff! The meal in the Grill was fantastic! Loved the real fires, especially in the great main Hall Highly recommend a stay here! Wish we could have stayed longer!”

“This is a small independent, dog friendly hotel. Its quite old fashioned, but the fact that it is independent makes up for any minor flaws...the staff were brilliant, frindly and efficient.”

“Excellent accommodation, perfect for exploring the lakes. Just off the A66 with plenty of parking. I stayed 3 nights in the single room. It was warm, cosy and comfortable with a nice en-suite bathroom. Great food with vegetarian and vegan option. Very reasonably priced and friendly and helpful hosts, I would highly recommend. ”

“Our room was on ground floor with a hot tub. Facilities were good and the bed was very comfortable. Some elements were a little tired. Staff were outstanding and responsive to all requests and questions. Nice dining area and presentation. Great central location to Grasmere village. Our only issue is that parking can be a lottery - but staff were happy to help.”

“Comodo se siete in auto. Vicino a Keswick e a poche miglia da Grasmere Ambleside e Windermere. Pulito e moderno. Colazione abbastanza ricca ma usano prodotti di pulizia scarsi perché i tavoli erano sempre appiccicaticci la mattina. Nel complesso resta un'ottima scelta. ”
